ISOM You really are a star to your family and friends- I hope one day someone just as special will come into your life just for you!
Anakat-- Did you have those cut out cardboard dolls too. We used to dress them with all the little clothes that had tabs to hang them on with!
Mrs Moneypenny -- Can I come to your house I love decluttering !
    Shaz Lots of love.
Kathy Thinking of you --- lots of love.
    F1 Brrmmmm, Brmmmmm, Toot Toot!
Kinsey Hope your life has calmed down!
Jean Hope you are taking it easy!
Lots of love to one and all.

I am having such a lazy day. Buster arrived early this morning for some spoiling time so I shall have to get shoes on and go out for a walk with him soon!
DOH has gone away for a stag weekend to see the Rugby at Twickenham --- Am I glad I am not a stag!!!!

So the time is my own -- I spent yesterday on the sewing machine -- another obsession afoot I am afraid-- Why can't I make 1 or 2 of something ! Oh no, It's " Oh that is so cute -- let's make ***** " I should have been born in a sweatshop or go for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy-- Actually I love it really! And this morning I have luxuriously wasted time on my blog and general fiddling and faffing!

Lots of love to you all as I must get something done xx

    SNAP!!!

But the thing is.............if I get ruthless and throw it out, sod`s law says I will need it within the following month..........so it all just goes back in the cupboard. Well, maybe a different cupboard :rotfl:just for a change.

Having said that, I was at the tip at opening time this morning with three bags full of junk :T in the compacter never to be seen again.

Started a prem size sands blanket in random dyed yarn last night but wasn`t happy with it as there was a lot of lemon to start with. So pulled some back, cut it off and started on the pinky bit, now have done the same with it so that the blue is starting. Are you following ? The wee blanket wouldn`t have had much `randomness` to it if I had just used the yarn as it is, at least this way it will, and I`m using the cut off bits to make an emergency square ;) so nothing wasted.

Summer fayre at the grandkids school this morning so went along and parted with some cash. Bought some geraniums for a couple of planters and DiL2B bought some fuchsias. DS was most miffed at having to pay for them as he reckoned they`d have had loads for free if his Dad had still been here. Very true.
They also had a car boot bit (pity I didn`t know about that I could have emptied my house) and I got an activity cube thingy for little J. Well, I`d given the older kids some pennies to spend so that was his treat. He likes playing with the one my friend has at her house for her grandkids to play with, so now he`ll have his own.

Off to do the watering now, the plants are hardening off ready to go in the garden (sometime :o) so the wind is drying them out terribly.
Wish the garden fairies would come along and sort things out for me, I hate weeding - almost as much as I hate ironing - and there are a LOT of weeds to dispose of before the plants can go in.

    Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Hi guys, Im the one who wants to make the cribs, thank you moliere for making me welcome. I already knit for a couple of charities but would love to join in with you all. I will have a look tomorrow at exactly what you need - thank you for the directions to the thread, you are a helpful lot on here :)

Got my Dgs coming over for the night so when he is snoring his little head off I will finish my latest project, favours and table centrepieces for a friends wedding. I think retiring to look after OH robbed me of my confidence so I have been a nervous wreck about it all but the bride to be cam over today and loved them - huge sigh of relief :D

then I am ready to start knitting again tomorrow!

lovely to be here with all you great people

the cut out dollies on the back of the Bunty....but we didn't get it every week...Dear Wee Sister got it one week I got it the next....then we made our own frocks too......what joy....I see they are on line too these days, will look out a link if you like Chalky or you could DOUGALD them.

Welcome ginnyknit - good luck with the cribs.

3 baby cardies (*2 were the hexagon jackets - I really am being obsessive about them)
    1 baby hat
    1 christening robe

stuck on the bed all day today apart from a short walk with DH and pups......not a happy bunny - awoke with a stitch in my groin probably because I was 'dancing all over the bed' during the night instead of sleeping......all fixed now but no way am I being allowed to get up! BOO HOO. Have started to hook a wee cardigan (not a hex) but not really sure if I am doing it right, will finish it and then see what I think.

Have a great weekend....oh if anyone actually can do CLEAR OUTS.....I have a barn that is in dire need...........could even supply cake and wine to assist - but I might also shackle you to a sewing machine or a knitting machine while you are here!
