Belated Happy Birthday Chalky
Hope everyone has a good weekend0 -
Hello to one and all and lots of love too! xx
Well Mrs Twins What wonderful news -- you must be absolutely thrilled and I think giving the money to Charity to be be a wonderful gesture. I hope it has gone to a good home! Wonderful news about the voucher too!
Well we had a long visit to a local market this morning which all the girls enjoyed but the weather is being so mean!!!!! Makes entertaining a much harder task even though they are being very good about it. I think they have given up on hoping for the sun to make an appearance and gone for a Siesta!! I could do with 1 too!!
I am making a Paella for tea so I hope that turns out well!
Well all the excitement of the wedding and birthday are over and I am sitting quietly hooking some snakes. Thanks again for such kind wishes
It must be time for the Loving Hands Challenges to be announced mustn't it! I am looking forward to seeing them!
Well I am going to try for 40 winks!
Love to allTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

secondly - Jean I really hope you feel better soon - fancy a nurse? I could do with escaping....... you have really been through the mill - its not the same without our Jean xxxxx
Thirdly - well done MrsTwins on your win - absolutely wonderful - I would join in but cant crochet! (secretly wishing I could but it feels so alien to me) anyway well done you and all the lovely ladies that took part xxxx
Fourthly - Ive got a real mood on - does anyone want a family?!:rotfl:long story and wont bore you - I feel better for saying that bit! tee hee
Finally - I hope you have all had / having a lovely weekend - wasnt the wedding just lovely - elder sister went up to London on her own and has some lovely pics which Ive seen on internet - DS said "oh look she got the Queen to look at her" as she has one where the Queen is looking right at her - I thought DS would moan that it was on the TV all day but he loved every minute of it as well and we only really switched off at 4.00 it had been on since 7.50am (DOH had to work no bank holiday for him! so he missed it all) - the bit where he drove the car I thought was just magical - how handsome William and Harry were and Catherine was stunning
I think we only have one more sleep and its Loving Hands Challenge day (or has Lou been sneaky and done it early.....) - Im off to get a blanket finished this weekend (third one done only one more to do and time is running out! only 3-4 more weeks before the babies start appearing) I really want to have a go at Shelleys request for small things - I think I have some 4ply white - its not my favourite at all but do like to help - as for knitting to send off - its in the bags to go but thats as far as its got im ashamed to say
Oh no the boys are back - no more peace and quite - love and hugs to all xxxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -

Ok so I know it's not particularly impressive but I just wanted to share my first attempts at crochet...
I love looking at the Attic24 blog, wish I was as creative as Lucy!! I saw her little crochet hearts a few weeks ago, but only got around to getting crochet hooks and some more yarn today. I have been sitting here all afternoon just messing around and get the hang of it, having never crocheted before, but am quite proud of my first attempt!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
