    Hi everyone

Shaz - I'm so glad you had a good time and that the boys were fairly good.

Chalky - hope the Chinese was good!

Well, we had a busy day yesterday helping the farmer to round up the cows that had escaped from where they were grazing (on our building plots) into our garden! I didn't mind the fact that they were helping to keep the grass down, but they could have escaped onto the road and that really worried me, especially as there are three of the cutest little calves in the herd. There's always a rogue cow that won't follow the others, so a lot of fun was had. I see that the farmer has put them in another field while he fixes the electrified fence to stop them getting out again. Hopefully, they can go back on our land - I love seeing them there.

Well, yet again, no woolly stuff has been done, what with the cow saga and helping DH to rake over all the free topsoil we've been given. Still, it's good exercise, I suppose! By the time I sit down in the evening, which is never before 9pm (where do all those hours go?), I just want to chill out.

The weather forecast for today was 'mostly cloud'; well, it's gorgeous out there, so they got that wrong!

Anyway, I hope you are all keeping well.

Mrs MW - think about you often and hope that things are going as well as they can.

Maytaurus - hope life is not too challenging for you at the moment.

    See you all later.

  • feeling really proud of myself - so the head will swell to enormous proportions - here is the wee hexagon jacket - must now go and refresh my memory on how to do that magic circle cast on thing for crochet and I have promised myself to go back to the link for that lovely little heart that 4annabella did because I am certain I can use that on something, then I shall find a bit more yarn and see what I can turn up with next. I did so enjoy doing this even tho' I had to keep my how to crochet book open on my lap the whole time!

Jean, that is truly stunning! I find it hard to believe that you've not been crocheting for years! I love the way the colours go so well together. Well done, a well-deserved swollen head and several gold stars!

  • that variegated wool is some of the huge Lidl ball (400g) and I was daft enough to find it in blue, pink and browns.......so it could take me a while to use it all up! I changed the front button band as I didn't think it was "fat" enough for the buttons and those post its front and back nearly did my head in, the only post its I ever knew about were the wee sticky note pads!

    Hello all

I have had a wonderful afternoon playing in the garden with DGS, we also planted some bizzy lizzys then watered them, and our feet, and DGS shoes and anything else within sprinkling distance:rotfl: Then sat on the bench and ate ice cream
He's gone home now, Mummy is due back from work and Daddy needed to go to the Trade warehouse on the way home.

Shelley - parcel on its way to you, with Aaron squares, and hats/bootee sets (let me know if they are ok and I will do some more):) also put a few crochet ties in just in case you needed them.
chalky - yes he is keeping busy, he put new gates up down the side over the last couple of days, taking his mind off Friday I think.
jean - I am so impressed that cardi is gorgeous well done :T
shaz - I am so glad you had a good time, and the boys were ok
kathy - :rotfl:just imagining you all cavhorting around the field trying to shoo the cows back to where they should be.

Can someone point me in the right direction to send the OCC items please??? can't seem to find an address

I plan an evening on the sofa with my crochet tonight, OH is off out to play snooker :)
