Shaz, what a thoughtful daughter you are. It's that sort of thing that will help your mum and dad get through this difficult time for them. You and your mum have been really busy - your knitting needles must be red hot!

Well, it's been the loveliest day here, really warm and sunny. Hope it lasts for a while.

Hope you all have a great evening.

Shaz your poor mum and dad. Have they had any contact with victim support? Can be so upsetting on so many levels to be robbed - not just the hurt of invasion but feeling like someone has been in your spece, touched your thinsg etc is horrible. Victim support can be a great help and can also advise/assist on getting funding when its available for agencies such as crimiminal injuries compensation board..may be worth them getting in touch? linky here

Maytaurus, what a thoughtful post! Thank you so much. I'm lucky enough to still have my mum; I would love to have been able to share the day with her, but I know that I am blessed to still have her with us. My thoughts, too, go out to those who have lost that special Mum.

Maytaurus - we would all love to read one of your posts when you get a chance to post one! We've missed you a great deal.

Happy Mothering Sunday to all mums today!

Hi everyone, happy mothering sunday to you all, today has brought about a few revealtions, some mothers wont have there babies to kiss goodnight to tonight so i haven decided to take some time out of my knitting and make some items for babies who are born sleeping. Its quite close to my heart and i would love to join in here and send them off to some oft he charities you have listed. i have loads of odd balls of 4 ply and dk in my stash so today will be spent making some hats, booties etc. i will update when i have actually done something.
