Oh, Jean, I'm sorry you're still feeling like you-know-what. Don't leave it too long before seeing the doctor if you don't start feeling better within the next couple of days, will you? Don't worry about the spready - it won't matter if it's not been alphabetised, I can still do the update. Take care of yourself.

aww sorry you poorly bad roaming! big hug from me that you rest up and get better soon.
Has anyone heard from Maytaurus? Am increasingly worried for her as we've not heard in an age...
good news being discharged Mrs M! Blood tests are usually done same day (much to my surprise...sommat to do with breaking down of sample over time...dont know if thats true or not!) so if there is a problem you would know fairly sharpish!
Loooong day in work - always is if Im in the office all day! Its hard not to worry for them as they are so vulnerable and often dont have the skills to make sensible choices...I know it will be hard for people to understand as my lot are sometimes the "undesirables" but when you understand their histories it's heartbreaking on occasion...Having said that Im NOT saying robbing etc is right btw-it isnt-but I can understand how some of them end up like that...anyway...off soapbox.
That said socky your poor mum and dad...hope they catch them soon. More often than not the police will be able to narrow it down to a few people - its them just a matter of catching them!
No wooly stuff (but its knitting on Monday!!) but am documenting the throw on sewing thread if people are interested...we have quite a production line going here lol! Managed to sew through the top of my thumb yesterday!! oops

    Hi everyone

ISOM - I've had an e-card from Maytaurus so I know she's still online but I don't know how she is.

Mrs Moneypenny -that's great news; I hope you can feel more relaxed now.

Jean - hope you feel better today.

Shaz - still thinking about your parents and hoping that they have a weekend that's better than the last week has been for them.

Well, no woolly stuff done last night. In the afternoon I managed to almost finish sewing up an Android robot figure I've made for DGS, I added a few more projects that I want to do this year into my notebook, and I've found a lovely amigurumi pattern for a panda for DGD1. DH was late coming home from work yesterday so, by the time we had eaten and cleared up, it was quite late and we were both really tired, especially DH who, with his electrician friend, had battled to make sense of some badly-installed electrical wiring, then to find the right bits in the DIY store. I've been up since quite early this morning so I'm going to do some baking later, then try and grab a snooze after lunch, hopefully.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Hello all
Havent had much time this week its been a funny one all told......
All sorts of things going on........

We had to go to the QE Hospital on Tuesday for OH to have a lump checked, its in the side of his face, he's had it ages but would'nt go to the Doc's despite gentle persuasion and downright nagging, eventually he gave in and went the and Doc referred him.
Anyway the consultant had a look then called another doctor in for a second opinion, the result was a bi-opsy, and referal for a scan, which I hope will be soon,
We got home around 4 and my friend Jan rang and asked us to dinner which I thought was really nice of her.

We have DS2/DIL and DGS coming for dinner tonight, really looking forward to it.

The doorbell went an hour ago it was a huge vase (yes they were in a vase:)) of flowers delivered via Interflora, from DS1 and DIL in West Sussex, they are so thoughtful and the flowers are beautiful,

I have been using up all the smallish balls of wool in all colours to make a throw for down at the caravan, just crochet granny squares I will edge in black and do a few rounds when it's finished. Its amazing how many bags I had shoved away in various places :o
    So far I have done 40 - 6" squares.

kathy - I will post my update next. I like the sound of that android robot love to see a pic when he is all finished
jean - Yes those christening robes are addictive are'nt they? I have done a couple of the little hats for Lisa's stars as they are quite small. Hope you feel better soon
mrs-mp - glad you've been discharged, its amazing what they can tell from blood tests is'nt it?
MRSMW - gentle ((hugs)) for you, hope the treatment goes well and my thoughts and prayers are with you x
O shaz as if you havent enough to contend with, your poor Mum and Dad once is bad enough but twice must be awful for them. We were burgled at New Year in 2003 so I know how they feel.

I have skimmed through but not read properly will do that later so for now (((HUGS))) for all

Sorry to have rambled on :o

Pippa - thanks for the update. I hope things go well for your DH. You must be relieved that he decided to get it looked at. I know what men are; they hate going to the doctors, don't they?
I'll post a photo of the android when it's finally finished - he still needs antennae! I have a few photos to post so I will try and set aside some time tomorrow to sort them out, and I really must do a bit of blogging - I think the last time I posted on my blog was New Year's Day! I don't know where the time goes!

Well, I just had to come on here and tell you all that we have been invited to our first French wedding! Our lovely neighbours are getting married on 9 July and we feel really honoured to be invited. I'm really excited and looking forward to it so much AND I shall just have to have a whole new outfit for it, won't I?! Now I need to do a bit of research into etiquette at a French wedding!

The weather is lovely here today, really warm and sunny.
