How horrible Shaz, your parents must be so devastated. It's the sort of thing that's happening more often now and so scary, apart from losing things that are irreplaceable.

ISOM that's going to be lovely, will you be using other material as well or sticking to those two?

Chalky I'm waiting with baited breath to see what you're hatching up next.

Shezmit have you received a package from me yet? I posted it last wednesday and would hate to think it's lost in never never land.

mioliere glad to hear your BIL is doing reasonably well. all good wishes to him. Have you heard from Mrs MW lately?

All well here...worked at home this afternoon so got loads done without noise and office distractions! Progess on hexes slow as have to chop up etc! Will do some crochet on and off as the stitching on hexes is minute so eyes strain!
Sorry that your mum got broken into socky..did they catch the culprit?
    Hope others are ok!

morning all, didnt sleep well this morning, worrying bout my mum, as far as i know they havent caught the culprit yet, but when they did the footprints and fingerprints, they found it was same person, that had done two others that morning also, hope they catch him, tho that wont make my mum feel secure.
decided that this afternoon i'm going to sew up some odds and ends and take them to the local maternity unit, got a few cardigans that just need buttons, and hats that just need the seam sewing, and 2 blankets that just need the ends weaving in
    hugs all

Oh Shaz I am so sad to read your news. I can only imagine how your poor Mum and Dad must feel and such a worry for you. Apart from anything else it is such a horrible feeling to think someone has been in the hose. Sentimental things are the most valuable so I am so sorry for their loss.
Please send them lots of love from all your friends on here. Perhaps a cosy blanket may give your Mum some comfort.
Try and do a good deed every day.

Hi everyone, I owe a lot of apologies to the lovely people who have sent me PMs, good wishes etc. I'm afraid I haven't felt well enough to go on the computer much. I have finished my Chemo for the time being, but it made me so tired and I kept getting infections, it was awful.
Tomorrow I go to see about having Radiotherapy. I'm not looking forward to it.
I am managing to do a bit of knitting but I can't work up much energy for it.
Sorry I haven't read the thread lately so I'm a bit out of touch , but please have a hug if you need it and I hope all the other poorlies are improving.
Much love to everyone. Mary xx

Sock knitter, so sorry to read about what happened to your parents, the thought that some has been in your house is horrible. It violates the one place where you are supposed to feel safe.
