Hi everyone - taking a break from painting and clearing up after painting!

Seraphim - a warm welcome to you. I love your cat squares! I hope you enjoy it here. If you haven't already done so, please look at page 95 of this thread, post 1885, and it will tell you all about what we do - there's loads of links there, too!

Well, so far my dismal total this week is six snakes, but I hope to get more done next week. The past week has been jam-packed with 'stuff' and has just eaten into any so-called 'spare' time, so I hope I can take it a bit easier from now on!

Anyway, after some lovely weather today has been wet and cool - not a good way to start what is supposed to be officially the start of summer-time!

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

Total: 6 snakes for Op Christmas Child

Welcome Seraphim - love the dishcloth sqares. Suggested size for cat blankets (by another charity) is 22" square which is 56cm square.

Quiet week for me with bad cold and stubbed toe/bruised foot to contend with. Doing a lot of sleeping!

    (((hugs))) to all.

No hooky stuff this evening as I ate too much when we took DMIL out to lunch so I have done some gardening, walked the track, had 2 cups of mint tea and am just about feeling "normal!!!"
Yoga in the morning so need to get bendy and stretchy again by then!
Love to one and all x
Seakay -- sorry you have been feeling rough
Kathy-- End in sight with the paperwork!
Anakat-- Well done on the gardening

Good morning everyone from what has become a sunny corner of France after a dismal start.

I have just done the update which you will find if you click into my name at the side of this post, then going to my 'homepage'. Please let me know if there are any mistakes!

Seraphim - I will add your name to the list if you could let me know if it's squares you are making, or a complete cat blanket!

Seakay - hope you feel better soon; a cold and a stubbed toe at the same time is no fun, is it?

Well, off to do some chores.

Complete blankets. The 2x2 is actually big enough (the squares are much larger than normal) but I'm going to knit up another 2 to make the blanket look more 'balanced'.

Thank you :) I was basing my blankets on the one which came with my rescue cat last month so it's nice to see some confirmation that it's about the same size as you quoted.

Thank you to everyone else for the warm welcome :j

    Hi all.

Seraphim - you may have noticed that we post our latest totals in red (makes it easier for me to count them up when I'm doing the update!). I'll look out for your update! I usually take the figures that are posted up to midnight every Sunday and add them to the update on the Monday.

Chalky - your DMIL knits beautifully, doesn't she? And fast, too! Does she have an MSE name that I could add to our update or shall I add them to your items?

Well, time for lunch I think.
