    hi all
batout of hell, welcome to the thread, the more the merrier
isom, well done for the weight loss, and coming off the happy pills, wish i could come off mine.

the situation last night got worse, i rang parentline plus, who said i didnt have to have josh back home, but when i told the police that, they were having none of it, and stated he was staying with me, as i'm his parent, when i asked them how they'd feel, if they was scared in there own home, and they turned really nasty, started shouting at me telling me what a bad mum i was not wanting my son, (i do want him, but just needed some space cos i felt scared), anyway i answered the police man back(bad mistake), so the police grabbed my wrists behind my back and held them behind my back, and i started to cry cos i was scared that i might have been arrested, after what felt like ages(but was only minutes) he stopped shouting, and i broke down in tears yet again. i wasnt thinking straight, and being scared too, and not wanting to be at home to cope alone, i stupidly took an overdose and was taken to hospital.
feel so stupid, and still coping with both lads, with little support at home.

Shaz so sorry you got into such a state, it's hard to believe how insensitive even the police can be, but yours is not the only time I've heard of that sort of treatment. Please don't try to harm yourself, there has to be help somewhere and hopefully someone will come along with some suggestions. Lots of love and hugs, I truly wish I could do more. xxxx

    Hi everyone

Thanks, Kinsey, for those great pattern links. I will take a good look at them later on!

Pippa - glad the party went well!

Shaz - I wish there was someone there who could fight your corner for you. You were treated dreadfully by the police; I can hardly believe it. I just wish we could all be there to help you.

Elaine - I often wish this thread was called 'Knit and Natter' !

Jean - will have another go with the update tomorrow. OUr visitors today stayed for ages and brought guests of their own - interesting ones, though; Americans who have just moved here!

    Anyway, my totals this week:

    Preemie hats - 6

    See you all tomorrow.

    Morning ladies

mrsmw - the only thing I can say is how very brave you are - thanks for coming and saying hello - please come back soon - we are always here - hubby does not knit tee hee - get him a loom! - take very good care we are all behind you xxxxx

roamin - absolutely lovely dresses - how very clever you are - why oh why can i not do something like that - i will leave it to the clever ones what a lovely way of using up bedding xxxx

sock-knitter - how very frightening for you I just cant say how i feel but reading your posts made me have a bit of panic for you - how insensitive of the police - take good care please dont harm yourself again - we all love you xxxxx ps good luck with the looms they are addictive xxx

DH has been claiming he has knitted on the loom to everyone - he sent a pic on the mobile to my mum saying he knitted it - barn pot that she is thought he was telling the truth!:rotfl:

batoutofhell - welcome :j lou at loving hands would of course love pull on hats - they are one of my favourite items - I send a few to lou and give some to my friends mum at her church(they do the boxes or does your local school do the boxes?) - anyway dont lurk come and join in xxx
(she whispers at the tender age of 13/14 i had my first boyfriend who liked meat loaf and along with his friend and my friend when we were out we always thought we were going to sing his songs and I do own Bat out of Hell CD which DH does not like so have to play on own!)

Well im in a complete tizzy and need to take few deep breaths i think - Ive go myself in a panic over the knitting - I have on the go at the moment and not far off finishing my poncho/jumper - I have my sisters baby in May - cousin having twins one pink one blue end of may - next door neighbour's DIL in May one pink and I have set my targets on one pram/car seat blanket and one hat each (but as my sister does not know pink or blue I thought I would make two for either!) I have not done much charity work and am in a whizz over it all - and Im such a bad wife and mother I have not done much housework lately just the bear minimum - I had my lists a week ago and bearly crossed off 5 items - please have a good chuckle for me because why can a lady get so stressed about knitting!!!!:rotfl:

Im off to sit in a dark room with my tea and ginger nuts and a bit of jeremy kyle which I always hated watching but now cant stop!

Have a good take care especially those that are poorly and feeling low xxx

hi all, i am back from my adventures, and it sounds like there has been so much going on here. one cannot leave for 5 minutes without something happening.

firstly - socky -you poor thing. i dont know how i could go about helping you, but if there is anything i can do, please do not hesitate to let me know - i dont have a baseball bat, but my hubby has a cricket bat that has not been used for a while, and me, five foot nothing against a policeman sounds like my kinda odds - its bloody outrageous how they can behave and get away with it! infuriating is what it is.

    kathy - how are you?

isom - sounds like ww is doing it for you - i lost 7 pounds on it -in total - i didn't do something right, did i? i am back on the weightloss thing as i am just putting on the pounds like no ones business - i think i need serious help. with it being cold (minus seven here last night) i eat more than i should, and we do walk for at least an hour a day, so that should make a difference, but it doesnt.

how is everyone else - sorry that i have not mentioned other names, but i am in the middle of my morning french study time (2 -3 hours every week day, i really am trying hard at the moment - and 2 hours with a french girl in our local village each thursday - i do hope it helps).

lots of love and hugs to everyone, i will pop in later to check on you.

Well we must be about the same age then as I first heard that album when I was 13. However, it has now become much much sadder than just owning 1 CD. My husband and I have all the Vinyl Albums, all the CDs, signed CD Singles, Tour T-shirts & Programmes....oh dear I even have knitted and crocheted bats in the house.......
