Getting there with blanket but only half done - dont know how they managed to make it look ok inthe piccy as mine is way too thin at the moment! Nice and easy to do though!
Re projects cat blankets would still be much appreciated by me but appreciate its not everyones cuppa!!

ISOM - Gaspar is lovely!

I had a very sad pm yesterday from MrsMW. You'll remember that she joined us some time ago but we haven't heard from her for a while. I'm very sorry to say that she has been ill since September, and was given devastating news just before Christmas about her illness. She starts chemotherapy next week, and I'm sure you will all want to send positive thoughts to her and her family at this terrible time for them all. She is trying to keep as positive as she can and is still knitting things to send to Lou; I do hope that she is finding the knitting therapeutic and that it is helping a little. She said she still reads the thread most days. I will be keeping in touch with her and I wish her all the very best for the new year. She has asked me to send her good wishes to you all for 2011.

Afternoon everyone - hope you have all had as good a Christmas as possible, and lets look forward to a better New Year.
I thought I had better do an update as haven't done one for so long, but as its the last day of the year, I like to clear the decks so to speak and start a fresh list tomorrow. As we've had no dance classes for 4 - 5 weeks now (because of the awful weather) I've managed to get a lot more knitting done (only do charity knitting anyway). It's been quite nice just to sit of a nightime and knit....

Anyway here is my update and I will update my sig next.

feeling bit low have had a big fall out with a friend i have known for many years. also kids are getrting me down a bit, especially one of them, who is verbally abusive and has been for last couple days

Popping in to wish people a very happy new year and to thank you all for your love and support on a daily basis in what was definately my annis horrebilis! (?sp!). Thankfully its almost done and I look forward positively to 2011!
Sorry to hear about Mrs MW - will add her to the prayer list. Please do come out from lurkdom and say hi if you have the energy once in a while - hearimng from May made my day on Christmas day!
Sorry youve had a row socky. Maybe you can take a step back and see what can be done in both that and the boys? Do your Gp surgery have any counclling on offer/ Mine from work has been incredible and Im keeping him for a while on a paid basis!
Anyway off to chill!
