    Hi all.

Roamin - thanks for the update about Maytaurus. Please send her my love via Laura the next time you are in contact with her. Love your Kitty, by the way!

Chalky - luved your luvvley luvvies! How many have you made so far?

Shaz - there's no way that you should feel embarrassed in front of anyone about your son's behaviour; he's old enough to know better, and no-one will be judging you as a mother. It's obvious that you have done all you can, and that you have brought both your boys up well. It is worrying about the 'funny' cigarettes, though, because they say that certain substances can cause mood swings and so on. If the kidsd are smoking at school, are the school aware of that? They should be closely supervised whether they are being taught inside or out.

Well, we woke up slightly later than usual so I'm playing catch up. I want to do some baking today, so I'd better get myself organised.

ISOM - I hope your parcel turns up at its destination. How frustrating for you - I would give it a little longer before you go to the trouble and expense of re-doing everything. By the way, it seems my photos of the big day at the farm didn't turn out, because I can't find them on the camera. DH may have put a new memory card in it and forgotten to tell me (HE needs a new memory card himself!) so I shall ask him when he comes home from work. If not, I'm visiting the farm at the weekend (for more supplies of sausages and so on!), so I can take photos of the little piggies then!

    Have a great day everyone.

ISOM hope your tummy is better, and let's hope the parcel turns up.

roamin the kitty is lovely and she looks perfectly happy with her whiskers. Thanks for the update n Maytaurus.

Shaz can understand you being embarassed, but the police know the situation now so there's no need to be. Anything happened about the mistkake in the medication yet?

mioliere shame about the photos, you'll just have to go back and take some more :)

hi all, sounds very cold in blighty - not much warmer here. so cold and wet that we decided to forego our afternoon walk and sit in front of the fire instead.

you girls sound like you are working so hard on christmas presents, you shame me - however not enough to start mine!

isom, hope that you feel better soon, my OH suffers from mirgraine and i know how he looks, so i think its a great idea to put yourself to bed and treat yourself to something special.

hope everyone else is okay, socky, hang in there, i know its not easy, but you are doing a grand job.

off to start dinner (slowly, with tidying the kitchen first).

    have a lovely evening all

    Hello to one and all
Caught the bus to Almeria city today and went to the Museum there-- It really was interesting and highly interactive-- a beautiful building in its own right
so no woolly bits from me today which makes a real change.
We had an early start ( not my cup of tea!) so I think an early night is on the cards.
Hope everyone manages to keep warm -- it looks freezing on the news!
Try and do a good deed every day.

  • morning all, it was freezin walking from car park to the international centre in harrogate, it was snowing heavy, but was really warm inside, never seen a place so busy it was absolutly packed.
some sock wool(6 balls) fell my way, 1kg sirdar crofter in the lilac colourway, some patterned wool for a wrap, some more pattered wool for fingerless wool, a KG of hand dyed 100& wool yarn, couple lots of the frilly can can yarn for scarves, and some more sets of dpn's and some knitting patterns, really enjoyed it

as for the kids they've been ok tonight, the mix up over the meds has resulted in joshua currently being prescribed nothing, and just managing him best i can. danny on meds but it dosent really help.
thanks for all your kind words of support
at dannys school smoking is banned outright which is brill
at josh's school the kids smoke outside the school premises, so as they are off the premises on a wednesday afternoon for outdoor education, i reckon something is going on, and i am going to ring the school first thing in the morning.
    hugs all

morning all - just off for a walk while the weather is still okay. have planned a baking day as we are going to visit one of our neighbours this afternoon for tea (she has 2 children who i am sure would like some muffins with apple and cinnamon in them).

other than that, its cold down near the pyrenees, so i am wrapped up really warm.

wishing everyone well and good loving thoughts.

    have a fabulous day

ISOM, thanks for the tunisian crochet hook, my apologies for not posting sooner that it had come, but my head has been all over the place.
after i posted last night, about my lovely day out, about 9pm all hell broke loose here, and last night, daniel was arrested again and spent the night in the cells, they are questioning him this morning.
i have wrote about it in the depression thread, under my old user name, as some people over there have known me a long time by that name

 Morning all, hope you`re all nice and cosy.

Still snowing here and looks like we`ll have it into next week -YUK.
Wouldn`t mind if I could just stay in by the fire but unfortunately I have to go to the bank, shopping, library etc. Never mind, if I get it all done today I`ll be able to stay in over the weekend.

Should have been going to the LH meeting this afternoon but it`s been cancelled because of the snow. Takes me nearly an hour to get there in good weather so probably would have been much longer in this rotten stuff. Suppose that means I can start knitting earlier tho` -usually leave at 12.40 to be there for 1.30 then leave again about 3.45 to get home about 4.30 so will have an extra couple of hours knitting instead of driving - if I don`t fall asleep in front of the fire that is.:D

Shaz, sorry to hear things are tough again ((hugs))
ISOM, hope you are feeling better today.
Jean, hope you`ve nearly got all your pressies ready for DH to bring over and the school fete stuff is in hand.
Chalky, enjoy the sunshine. (jealous here)

:hello: Hello to Maytaurus,Shezmit and all MIA`s and lurkers.

Off to brave the elements. See you later.
