Just about made it to the end of the week, DS due after work this evening, dumpling made (and a couple of slices eaten ooops!). Cake done just to decorate it a bit later. Lasagne (thanks for the idea chalky) needs to be assembled, dog beds to be changed, balloons to blow up, photo's of DS as babe to be stuck up all over the house - maximum embarrassement guaranteed. So I had better go and get started to it all.
Hope you all have a great day, with gorgeous weather and I will pop back in when I can.

Hi all, thanks for all the good wishes for DGD

Pippa, hope you have a relaxing holiday, a break will do you good.
Shaz, my favourite colours too. Glad your mouth’s better but hope you don’t come down with a cold after all.
Jean, thank you for the recipe, that is definitely on the agenda for the weekend!
Chalky, hope you all have a great Barbie and enjoy the family visit. How nice of your nephew and fianc!e to come over for her birthday.
mrs mp, hooray for the wool lasting to the end!

Everyone is so busy this week, cooking , baking and organising get togethers, hope you all have good weekends.

I’m still trying to learn German, but finding it hard going on the grammar, but I’ll get there one day. Just finishing a square for mrstwins and some stuff for Shaz, which I hope to post on Monday. The lady I taught to crochet has just finished her first square for charity and I’m so pleased that she’s enjoyed doing it.

Love and hugs to everyone, and thinking of all the ones feeling poorly or low

Just a quick pop in--- all well.
DMIL was totally in tears when her Grandson and his fiancee arrived as a surprise.
Been cooking all the side dishes for the BBQ this evening --- but took time out to all meet up at the Rugglestone Inn at Wideombe in the Moor for lunch. We had an " oldies " Sunshine Bus tour and met all the youngsters there-- Lovely but I am missing DD2 as she would be loving it!!
However all is well in Bali and they are having a wonderful time and have already got a job lined up in St Kilda in Melbourne which looks amazing,
So tonight DS and our lovely DIL are arriving plus DD1 and patrner and springy Buster are arriving so there will be 15 of us -- and it looks like it will be fine !!! Fingers crossed.

    HI everyone

I've not been around for a couple of days because things have been a bit hectic here, what with moving things around the house ready for the big 'push' on the kitchen next week, plus cleaning the holiday home, plus unexpected visitors calling in - the time has just disappeared so quickly!

I hope you are all well.

I'm just popping in to wish Jean, Chalky and ISOM each a great time with their celebrations after all that prepping!

Thanks, May, for that lovely lovely pattern.

I am desperately trying to find the time to catch up with you all but it seems something always gets in the way lately.

Anyway, I will call in again tomorrow.

    Have a great evening, all.

    Good morning eveyone.
    Have a super holiday Pippa.
I do hope everyone's parties go well, and the weather behaves itself.
I had a text from a friend yesterday to say don't open any emails from her as her computer had been hacked, too late I'd already openened it and wondered why she was sending me 'that sort of thing'. Doesn't seem to have done any damage but I'll get my son to have a look tonight. Why do people do that.
mioliere your house is going to be so gorgeous.
Shaz could you send me your address please, I have a few things for your stall, hope you're feeling better.
    Love to everyone xxx
