  • morning all, loving the motorhomes and buses, how wonderful it would be to meet you all, and travel round europe knitting and chatting, and all that lovely wool we would have to bring for the trip
jaqui, who says ironing boards have to be used, mine just stands there in the corner of the cupboard, looking hopeless lol
pain in mouth still bad, but easing, so anti biotics must be working.
been invited to a new craft group this afternoon, its a general craft group where some do beads, cards, knitting etc, bit nervous about going as i wont know anybody except the lady running it, and i've only met her twice thru church. if i go i shall take my 4ply baby blanket that i stated for lou, its easy enough, just dosent grow fast.
hope everyone has a lovely day, been throwing it down here, then ten mins ago, sun came out, hope it stays dry
    hugs all

Shaz - glad the pain is easing. I'm sure you'll have a lovely time at the group and will soon be chatting away with the others. All the crafters I've ever met - whatever craft they do - have always been nice people - it must be the creativity in them!

I, too, hadn't thought about the wool on the bus so we would definitely need the trailer that Kinsey suggested! We could then take our own stashes plus a huge giant lucky-dip one that we could all scream at like they do on that great new beer advert! I don't like adverts normally but, if you've seen that one, you'll know which one I mean!

  • Aww Don,

She's stunning - absolutely beautiful baby, making me all broody again!! I would have another one tomorrow if the medics hadn't advised me against it when I had Scarlett (and I can't quite belive she has just turned 2!!)

    Gorgeous name too ---

    With love to you all,

    Dawn xx

Hello to one and All -- What wonderful news of Bronte and Kathy's new grandchild.Makes me think of the box Jean
What a lovely lot of posts at the moment -- It has taken me a serious coffee break to catch up with everyone.
Shelley-- I was so sorry to read of Mum -- The gentlest of thoughts to you at this sad time. Also to anyone else with their hands overflowing.
Anne Lots of gentle thoughts on these early days of adjustment.
Love to those in pain at the mo x

All this talk of the coach trip. May I suggest we crochet a veryyyyyyy long chain so that we can tie ourselves up together in a crocodile fashion. Them people (me )who might forget where they are going or even who they are may keep up!

Well we have had a busy weekend Car Booting. We really did see the good, the bad and the ugly. But we made £83 out of mostly DD"'s rubbish I mean treasured junk. I don't think there was 1 crafty soul there as the crochet books and card making books I took were not even opened!!

A busy week ahead as we have DMIL's 80th birthday on Saturday with all the relatives massing. Saying that I have 5 apple pies to make so must get off here and get going
    Love to all
Try and do a good deed every day.
