  • This post is just to catch up with you all, love the peaches - I can smell them here, very restrained on the wool front Kathy, I would have had boxes full but then I am really greedy.
Maytaurus - ye even got me in the right tartan......naughty but nice.
We have glorious sunshine, but so cold, I gave in and lit the fire yesterday then just slobbed in front of it!! How good was that - brilliant if you were me.
Shaz I hope that you're not in too much pain today. I have the beddy bear heat it up in the micro, but I also made a load as pressies with stitched tubes of material filled with rice....that works great for neck/shoulder ache. I keep one in the freezer too, for when DH has gone too far on his bike and comes back with the muscles aching, works a treat.
F1, I think we will need something a bit bigger than a VAN, by the time we are through collecting everybody, so can you keep your eyes peeled for a bargain BUS - make it a double decker and can I please be allowed to drive it??
Well the pink wool spaghetti is still on the kitchen table, working ever so slowly through it, I have learned two things from this experience
    1) I really have very little patience and there I was thinking that I had loads
    2) When monsters come to stay -HIDE anything that you don't want them to get at
That's it for now, will pop back a bit later and see what you have all been up to, take great care and enjoy your day

  • Hi everyone,

Wet and dreich day here in NE Scotland. I have the coal fire burning, scarf knitting on the pins and a semi-comatose cat lying on the hearth rug,I think he likes the 'real' fire more than me!

Glad the cat blankie was OK, Isom. If I get organised I;ll hopefully manage another, they are great for T.V knitting.

Elaine, have sent you a PM.

    Take care
