Hi folks, how are you all ? Not been about much lately. 'Edna' raised her ugly head again recently so have been trying to shoo her away. Taking a wee bit of time as there's been so much sadness in our lives the past few weeks.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day as they say, and I have cause to be thankful that I'm here to see it. It's a year since I had my triple bypass, hard to believe isn't it ? Not as fit as I hoped to be but hey ho, more time for crafting.

Trying to decide where I could go for a wee holiday, see if that chases away the blues and gives me a boost.
Been doing a bit of my Cosy blanket then a few rows of my rainbow one which little J asked for. Both coming along nicely now. Crocheting the Cosy one- Attic24 - and knitting the rainbow. Gee, I thought I'd forgotten how to knit, took me a minute to remember as I haven't knitted for a while. Lol.

Hopefully I'll get the piles of charity stuff sorted out and boxed up for sending to relevant places in the next week or so, can hardly move in my bedroom for piles of wooliness, so time for a spring clean I think. Have to make room for the next lot.
Back soon, unless I disappear under the woolly mountain ;)

It is with heavy heart I make this posting............Kathy (mioliere) has just been in touch, she and her husband had news last weekend that her mums health had deteriorated, so they both scooted straight back to the UK. Unfortunately, her mum passed away yesterday lunch time. It's their intention to spend the next few days with family in the UK. She has limited access to the internet at present but will be in touch with us all when she returns to France.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to you and your family Kathy. I think others will agree when I say I feel like I knew your mum through some of the lovely anecdotes you shared on here.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, I will light a candle tonight in your mums memory.

Kathys news is so sad, lets all light a candle for her tonight.

    Sams blanket is looking lovely.

Dreary wet day here echoing my mood, Dgs is having a bad time at school as he cannot seem to cope with everything and may end up at a special school. Autustic children lash out as they cannot put into words what is wrong ie - too hot. They also need a break from noise, smells and even their shoes. Oh well its weekend and he can have a break here tomorrow.
