had DD2 and a little visitor waiting when I got home from work. So that was a lovely surprise. Feeding not going brilliantly, little one is fine and has already got back to his birth weight but poor dd is struggling with sore boobs as he is feeding so much. feeding clinic told her to go and see her mum for some tlc so that's what she's done. Tomorrow it's hearing clinic so I've told her to get partner dropped off here after work and she can come here after the test with babe and I will get a meal sorted so they can both get some rest.SPC~12 ot 124

Not been in for a few days nothing new there then ...
I haven't read back so no idea what you have all been up to but will remedy that later
OH is not feeling well he insisted he was ok this morning so we carried on as normal, went to see Mom at the home then popped in to see my friend Jo and her BF but came home after just half an hour, as OH was uncomfortable.
Got home and I packed him off to bed for a lie down and hopefully a snooze...didn't last long he came down and lay on the sofa, so I put the snooker on and he fell asleep, it's been a couple of hours now and it will do him good...he was so pale
I have taken advantage of the quiet and sorted my stash out...my goodness there is a lot I don't even remember buying some of it
TTFN love to all Annie xx0 -
Hi, everyone.
So sorry, Nursemaggie; I remember now. Don't worry about it; I can always double check your name when I am looking for the totals.
Mrs Moneypenny - I am sure things will settle down with the little one soon; it's early days for both of them. I remember sore boobs when I was nursing mine, and the health visitor gave me a spray called Rotosept, which helped a lot. I wonder if they still make it, or something similar?
Pippa - I hope OH feels better soon. I've sorted out my stash, too. I got inspired when I bought a lovely new basket to put it (well, some of it) in.
Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Hi all, quick pop in before getting tea started.
Mrs mp - sore boobs.Tell DD to slap a couple of cabbage leaves on them. Sounds daft but it works, midwife's tip when my girls were suffering. Might need to top up with a bottle if the munchkin is still hungry.I'm sure you have lots of advice to give her and a ready hug when she's worn out poor girl.
Pippa. s- hope hubby feels a bit better after 'watching the snooker' or should that be snoozer ?
Had a busy time today. Dr's appointment first, shoulder joints have been painful the past few weeks, difficult to wash or brush hair as I can't raise my arms up. Fat lot of use he was, no idea what's causing it says he.:rotfl:
Then meeting with mortgage adviser at the bank, another useless bloke
Then shopping, which I hate with a vengeance, Subway sarnie for lunch then on the hunt for a new blue mini watering can for the mini gardenerHis original one (which was granda Jim's and about 14/15 years old ) had a bit missing when he found it on Tuesday. Major tears when he found it was broken, so grandma promised we would buy a new one. Tried several shops but no blue ones to be had, lots of green ones grrrr. Eventually went to the expensive garden centre and yay, found a blue one. Hmm, good bit dearer than Jim's original one, but that's inflation for you. DD told me I was daft paying that price but I have to keep my wee helper sweet
On the woolly front, I'll be doing a bit more of the Cosy blanket. I'm just not as enthusiastic as I was with the original granny stripe one. Think the problem is I dithered about which one to order, cosy or cottage, cottage or cosy, and clicked on the wrong one when I ordered it. Oh well, just have to crack on and get it done and on to the next project.
Enjoy the weekend everyone.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Hi, everyone
Ginnyknit - so glad that all is well with the baby, and that you now know which colour wool to get busy with!
Mrs Moneypenny - hope Alfie is doing well, and his mum, too. I love the colours of your hat and scarf. They would really brighten up any winter's day.
Elaine - so glad you got the blue watering can!
Well, it's a gloomy day today but, as no rain is forecast, I have put the washing out. Methinks the forecasters may have been a tad too optimistic because it certainly looks like rain.
Have a great day, everyone.

The weather forecasters here have been like the harbingers of doom, they have predicted deepest winter is Set to return, but so far it's still looking like spring. I've just weeded the garden and hung some washing out.SPC~12 ot 124
