He is gorgeous mrs-moneypenny he is even bigger than I imagines and I have seen some big babies. Biggest I have ever seen was nearly 15 lbs. Special care did not have an incubator big enough. When they are that big they have to be a Cesarian so they send them to special care for a couple of days.0

Busy, busy busy! Spent yesterday preparing for my 3 grandsons who are coming to stay for a week. DH will be armed with a large shopping list today - these boys have huge appetites!
Finished some more squares the other day for Sam's blanket and came across a 400 gm ball of Aran I had forgotten I had. Although not on the 'to do' list, I have now knitted the back and two fronts of an Aran cardigan. It's a pattern I have done before so can zip through it and still watch the box. Will need to buy another ball to complete the garment but discovered Wool W/house sell the same in yarn in 100 gm balls. Just need to decide what else to order to make it up to £25 for the free postage. Decisions, decisions!0 -

How is everyone today? The sun is shining here but its chilly. I have been knitting lots of Marianna's cardigans lately, some for special care unit at St Marys and some for Dd's Baby Bumble Bee. We find out what flavour the baby is on the 24th :j dont mind really but a little girl would be nice. Going to do some crochet later for a change as I havnet made her any blankets yet.

Hi, everyone, from a cold and gloomy part of France. After a lovely few days, the weather has really changed, and there was me thinking that summer was almost here.
Mrs Moneypenny - how is that dear 'little' Alfie? I hope that he and hid mum are both doing well.
Chalky - of course, you are in grandma heaven right now, aren't you? Hope you are having a great time.
Azzabazza - hope you are surviving with three grandchildren to look after!
Ginnyknit - sounds like you can't wait to find out what the baby is!
Well, my Wool Warehouse order arrived today, which isn't bad because I only ordered it on Monday, and it had to come all the way to France. I am very impressed with the wool, the colours, the value, the bag it all came in, and how quickly it arrived. I definitely recommend that supplier. I just have to finish a poncho I am working on, then I fancy making a baby hat with each colour (there are seventeen in the pack), just to see how the wool works up.
Anyway, I have done the update, and I really apologise for not having got round to it for ages. Life here is all over the place at the moment but hubby has found regular ongoing work (about three days a week) which will give me a bit more time to get organised.
Here is the link to the update: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P5MbuPIRkLKCR0n-GuHNrATnl9FMu2lfTbz4pJEdvWo/edit#gid=0
My latest news on Sam is that he is doing as well as can be. My son sent me a video of him playing cricket in the garden - it came as a complete surprise to see him looking reasonably well, and much better than I thought he would be at this stage. He looks pale and tired but, as I say, better than I expected. He had a lumbar puncture last Friday; it's one of the tests they carry out now and again to check on progress. The doctors are still happy with how he is doing, which means that I am as happy as I can be about it, too.
I hope the weather is better for you all than it is here.
Lots of hugs to you all.

Gosh has a week gone by since I last posted. By the time I find this thread I have run out of things to say.
Since I first took the pattern for Marianna's cardigans, I keep calling them jackets as they are matinee jackets, I am now on number 42. I could do them in my sleep. That is not an update Chalky.0 -
evening all
Its been a gorgeous day here, bit cool first thing but warmed up as the day has gone on...we spent some time in the garden tidying, planting, moving a few shrubs, and digging some goodness into the soil...OH bought me a bluey/lilac hydrangea a couple of days ago so that was the first to go in, so glad it was a good day, had to move a Camellia it was in totally the wrong place, hopefully it will flower now maybe not this year but next.
