I am trying very hard to keep calm! I promise to behave myself to save you racing to the rescue xxx
Well I will try and pop in when I can. But I look forward to special baby news. I remember William being born and it was the best ever and I know we all feel like that. Please add me to the virtual Auntie list X

I can just see Chalky now - a bundle of excitement, joy and nervousness all at once. Not grabbing her little man at the airport and kissing him silly must be awful. Have a wonderful time my dear friend.
I now have a greenhouse (plastic) thats just a bundle of bits on the floor on top of plantpots full of lavender plants that I have nurtured from teeny weeny plug plantsis there a weeping smiley? Could be worse, or thats what I tell myself when something minor but upsetting happens.

Ginny so sorry to hear about your plants, the wind has been horrendous it's really disappointing when you've nurtured something like that and it gets battered. Are there any you can save?SPC~12 ot 124

Im going to have a proper look in daylight tomorrow and there will probably be some that are just hiding under the compost that spilled. There were 30 lavender plants that I wanted to make a little hedge with for Dgs's fairy garden but I had 4 others near the house and they are ok. My punnet of pansy's took flight down the garden but landed right side up :T In the bigger scheme of things its not too bad xClearing the junk to travel light

Ginny sorry about your plants I hope you manage to salvage most of them.
Took me two days to frog one cardigan but am almost to the armhole shaping on the back with my re-knitting. mattress stitch may be the best way to sew up because it is invisible but it has meant I have cut quite a few stitches. Going to have a lot of joins. I still have another ball of this yarn if I end up using more because of all the joins.
I am knitting it on smaller needles and two sizes smaller. With less stitches I ought to use less. I had hoped not to have to frog the sleeves as they fit much better but had to frog them because of cutting stitches where I had woven the yarn in from joins.0 -
Seem to have saved the greenhouse enough to bring plants on in it
Busy with all things crafty, just painted a canvas midnight blue then will stick letters on saying' Love you to the moon and back' paint stars and Moon on it and make holes for battery lights to poke through. Its for Dgs's bedroom will post pics when its done.
Hope everyone is well warm and dry in this horrible weather xxClearing the junk to travel light
