Well, we are still in the south of France and due to come back midweek because DH has picked up some more work, which I am not complaining about, although I can't wait to get back to my own things. We are staying one night in Montpellier on the way back; DH has always wanted to go there, so we might as well make the most of being here because he has more work planned, and I won't be coming with him on future work-related visits. I would much rather stay at home.

Have a great time, Linda! Sadly, I know you can't rush over and cuddle them all at the airport, due to the rules in Dubai, but I am sure you will more than make up for it while you are there!

Pippa, do come and join us on FB, please. We would love to see you there!

I am going to be ordering some wool over the next day or so, and I like the Wool Warehouse Attic 24 packs, so think I'll get one and will just have to put up with the wait. Jean, which pack did you pick? I love the colours in the photo you posted of it.

I'm so glad that links from Facebook work on here; that will make a huge difference to those who don't have FB accounts.

Well, we are off to Pezenas market today, so I wonder if I will find any wool there? I hope so. I will let you know.

Hugs to you all and have a great day. The sun is beaming here, although there is a sharp cool wind - it's always windy in this part of France. It would drive me mad to live with it all the time!

  • I am tempted with the lily pond but have promised DS is next on the list and I am certain he won't want lily pond no matter how pretty it is ha ha.
Kathy I bought the granny stripe (17 shades 27 sqids + postage to France) am now seriously looking at the COAST - pack but not yet made my mind up if I will use it to do the wiggley one (15 shades 25 squids)
    http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/ripple-blanket-know-how.html
my other option would be the cosy stripe below (again 15 shades and 25 squids)

I do LOVE all those blues on the coast tho' so think that's the pack I will order. decisions eh? will sleep on it all over the weekend and then see if I have come to a decision, there again I could just order the yarn and by the time it comes I will have made my mind up.
chalky PLEASE this time be good in that Dubai place - we love you too much to let you rot in a jail there and will do whatever is necessary to get you back home safe.

Blanket looks fantastic roamin, love how you've set it out

    Hope all are well

I'm actually knitting! Friend has given me some pink wool as her sister is expecting a little girl so I've dug out a pattern and am knitting a matinee jacket. DD2 has been round still no sign that grandchild is in any hurry to put an appearance in.
