Morning all - just. Must have been tired, slept right through till eleven !
Only the dogs barking at the postie woke me or might still be sleeping.:rotfl:
Ginnyknit, I haven't done any owls yet although I have the pattern. I was wondering what I could do this weekend. Hmmm, that might be on the agenda.
My mojo seems to be hibernating at the moment so a wee owl might kick start it. Have a few different colours in my stash as I bought quite a few balls last year.:T
Hope everyone is fine and poorly hubbies are improviing. Enjoy your day whatever you have planned.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Have just finished 10 small blankets for our local hospital to put in memory boxes for parents who sadly have had stillborn babies.0 -
azzabazza - what a wonderful gift to donate to the hospital, I have added you to the spready and popped your 10 blankets in as well. Memory boxes are really appreciated by those who unfortunately have received them.

Hi, everyone, I hope you are all having a good Sunday. It's been grey and cool here today, but not as freezing cold as it has been. Perhaps Spring is on the way?
Thanks again for all your good wishes for Sam. I can't believe how the good news on Friday has affected us here - we know there's a long way to go, but the fact that the news was better than we dared hope makes it feel that a huge black cloud has been lifted from DH and me.
We've had a busy morning but a lazy afternoon today.
Jean - I officially become a pensioner in March, and have received all the relevant paperwork from DWP. I now have to do battle with CPAM to change our health cover because they will now be covering us, not RSI - wish me luck. I am hoping it will be straightforward - what are the chances of that?!
Have a great evening, everyone.

Morning all
I hope the paperwork goes smoothly for you kathhy, I must admit I've been walking round with more of a smile on my face over the weekend because of Sams good news.
I actually finished the baby blanket for DD2 and even sewed all the lace edging on over the weekend! ive also made a start on a baby cardi for a work friends sister, it's half term here this week so haven't got to go to work which gives me an extra hour a day to craft.
Hugs and good wishes to all who need them and I hope the all the poorlies and those caring for or worrying about love ones all have a much better week with health improving and problems easing for all.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone, do you share everything you are knitting/crocheting or only the things you do for charity?0
-
Kathy, am sooo envious of you becoming a pensioner. If that drafted government hadn't kept moving the goalposts I'd have retired a year ago. As it is I 've got to keep slogging on till I'm 64 and 4 months if you please. Unless they move the goalposts AGAIN !!
Feel I should be slowing down, not running like a hamster on a wheel.Sigh.... sorry for the rant.
Love to see any and all makes on here. Gives us inspiration. Need lots of that just now, mojo gone awol big time here.
Off out again to earn a few more pennies. See ya soon.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

azzabazza - we share everything even if it isn't crafty related, web sites we like, patterns we think are great, deals on yarns etc. The numbers of things on the spreadsheet totals comprise anything we have done for any charity at all - if the item isn't on the spready already we add it. NO pressure at all we just do what we can when we can.
KATHY - cpam are so easy to deal with - here in Brittany have nothing but praise for them.....mind you each department and each office is going to be different! Good Luck. Attila the Huns sister works at the prefecture in Pontivy - I know cos she hates everyone not just me! ha haThe Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾
