Wonderful News Kathy! We will keep thinking of you and all the family because he still has a long way to go. Probably the worst is over.

mrs-moneypenny Every since I saw a doll dressed in a lovely layette the other day been thinking I would love to dress a doll again. Not done one for twenty years or more. You reminded me with your friend fundraising. I think I will do one for my local Hospice shop. They always do well. There are lots of families going past taking children to school. No shortage of grandmas around either.

I will get looking out for a suitable doll.

Not got far with my crochet yet but it is so long since I did any.

Kathy glad you have had good news, we are all thinking of you and yours.xx

I bought this pattern today http://www.deramores.com/hedgehog-in-king-cole-tinsel-chunky-and-king-cole-dollymix-dk-9015

and a ball of the white wool, cant wait to get started and then I think I my be making more of them. 1 ball of the sparkly wool does 1 big hedgie or 2 small and its only a small ball. It was £2.99 but I think its worth it. Will post a pic when he is done

Kathy - some good news at last I will keep thinking positive thoughts for you all, sending love and (((HUGS))) to you all x
ginnyknit - sounds like you will be better off with the new GP hope so, hedgies look so cute
jean - tried the new square out today did 2 and they came out different sizes...couldn't figure it then it dawned on me I had done trebles on round 4 instead of half trebles...o I am a dope sometimes :o thats what I get for talking and not concentrating
chalky - hope you had a safe journey and are now tucked up safely in your Spanish hideaway  and Andy's knee was not to painful for him :)

I started a ripple blanket before we went away, I seemed to have a lot of odd colours so decided to do something useful with it, I just tipped a load of yarn out over the floor bagged it up and made a start...never even matched colours so we will see how it turns out...looking ok so far

Love to you all Anne xx

Ginnyknit, you'll love doing those hedgies. I did 10 for the school fayre before Christmas and came away with orders for another four. They are addictive and soooo easy. Sending pm. ;)

New job taking more out of me than I expected so off to put the hottie in their bed, get the horlicks made and off to bed with a magazine.

Tomorrow is another day, not working so can have a lie in.
