Hi peeps been MIA again so much going on this week
never had a birthday last almost a week before it was wonderful
I was well and truly spoilt
I popped in earlier but got yanked away to take DGS to the Zoo...o joy...but he had a lovely time and that was the main thing, and all the walking (3 hours of it:eek:) up and down hills must have done some good to my thighs and waistline surely :rotfl:He stayed over last night and I was a wicked Nanny I made him do his spellings, and read his book but he does love reading so that was no hardship for him, we delivered him back home about an hour ago now I intend to have a quiet evening on the sofa with some maltesers watching strictly, Xfactor and anything else that takes my fancy.

I guess everyone is getting busy making things for Christmas. Just off to take my first parcel to the Post office. It will be on its way to Saudi Arabia via DDs SIL wedding. Not safe to send direct as it will not arrive.
Hope to do some charity knitting in the next few days. Have yet to start on the aircraft carrier scarf.0 -
Still piddling rain here, more than a week of it. Oh, I tell a lie ! We had about 15 mins of Sun on Thursday I think it was........
Been very quiet here. DD and little J only here part time and DS has new g/friend so seldom here now. Pops in for 10 mins if I'm lucky. Not used to being on my own so much.
Hope everyone is well. Keep cosy in this miserable weather or enjoy the sun if you have some.

DH is out of the big body brace and into a smaller wrap around doo dah, he is allowed to 'try out most things' for himself - so as a nurse I am now redundant - not sure he will let me give up with the shopping, cooking, cleaning etc although I will try and convince him otherwise............slow and steady progress only to be made over the next two months prior to his next hospital visit. The Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾

Omg Im cross eyed, been rolling through fabric land but no super hero fabric I think its because its licenced  However I have picked rather a lot of fabric i would like so will save up and buy some after Christmas. I found a quilt cover in Tesco that will do and I can use up the rest of the fabric to make Christmas gifts with. Thank you xxClearing the junk to travel light

Hope you all have a wonderful day - think I am doing the pickled onions and the baking this afternoon but will pop in when I can.
