Afternoon everyone, hope you've all got it sunny today
Roaming, thanks for the links, I’m going to give it a try.
ISOM, that pig looks cute, hope you let us have a pic when it’s done. Well, I’ve looked for your mojo, but there’s no sign of it here, hope it comes back to you soon!
May, nice to see you back. Lots of ideas there for me to make for presents.
Chalky, glad you had a nice time, looking forward to seeing the pics.
Pippa, thanks, I’m going to give that a go.
I’ve spent ages today looking at patterns for toys and gifts. I’d like to make a strawberry hat for DGD and want to find the exact shade of red, so I’m going to HAVE to go to the wool shop next week methinks. But, I will try to be brave and stick to what I need rather than what I want.
Thinking of all the poorlies and mia’s
Hugs to everyone
Lisa

ISOM - sending you some mojo from France....it will come with a bit of an accent and even a bit of an attitude....use it wisely
Anne - sorry to see (now that I have read the last couple of pages properly) that not only is your dear MIL out of action but your poor Mum is really poorly too, sending you all a great big cuddle and sunshine for brighter days ahead.
I only came up to add my list for this weeks work, so here we go
9 snowmen
7 hedgehogs
4 sets wrist warmers
2 pair of bootees
will get back on again after dinner, she says hopefully......Lemon drizzle cake was another mess, so I believe it will be the James Martin cola/chocolate cake instead I know I can do that one standing on my head!
Chalky - just had a quick check to see if the "event" is on your blog - but not yet, you are obviously extremely busy, but I will pop back in again later.

Hi all,
PTB - hope little S had a lovely bday and big brother is settling in at school well and making friends :-)
PTB, PFUNGI, SOCK-KNITTER - glad to hear you all had such a lovely meet up, hope you had a cake for me!
ISOM - I promise I haven't taken the mojo this time... did you leave it in the washing-machine with the odd socks? hope your backache gets better soon and glad you are settling in to your new job quickly (training is a good thing btw, it gets you out of the office for a change of scenery, lol)
RITG - you always seem sooo busy, how do you find the energy? loved the pick of Smee!
CHALKY - wedding sounds perfect! just my sort of thing with the nature elements
POL, KINSEY, AND ANYONE ELSE I HAVE FORGOTTON - hugs and hope you have a good week ahead.
As for me, on the mend but still cant crochet, sew, knit, etc with bad arm and hand. Its sending me nuts! dont know what to do with myself, especially in the evenings. Plus I still am not allowed to drive or ride so its a 2 1/2 mile walk to work and the same back which is keeping me fit! Frustration isnt the word, I tells ya - today I have baked a large batch of orange and apple rock cakes, triple choc muffins (white, plain and milk chunks), banana and choc chip muffins, vienese piped biscuits with choc-dipped ends and a BIG chocolate cake with buttercream in the middle and melted chocolate with smarties covering the top... the plan is to keep OH and son filled up as money is tight this month and no money for treats so I am magicking-up goodies from a store cupboard that doesn't seem to go down in size, now I think about it, it is similar to the boxes of wool I get from Lou @ LovingHands?!
Not sure how long the goodies will last as half the rockies have gone, nearly all the vienese biscuits and a few of the triple choc muffins already... bottomless stomachs in this house as well as hollow legs?!
Better sign off as I plan to have a warm, bubbly, candlelit bath tonight once son is in bed at 8pm... bliss!
