    evening all
Late again, I have had one ell of a busy day, spent most of it at the Hospital with my Mum this time. It was the follow up after the endoscopy she had a while ago. Turns out she does have an ulcer and hiatus hernia and also narrowing of the gullet thats why she has trouble swallowing anything.
The consultant has changed her medication for 6 weeks then we go back to see him again.

MrsTwins - the blankets are stunning and the way you finish them off are lovely. I am making a start on my Jan Eaton square tonight.
chalky - 8 in 18 months did you have a new outfit for EVERY one ;) Have a lovely time and I hope the weather is kind to you :) BTW thanks for the offer regarding the van its really good of you x
MrsMW - hope you feel better soon
Dawn, shaz and Pam - how lovely another meet up, glad you had a good time and bargains galore as well cant be bad :D

Really tired again today but darent fall asleep or I wont sleep tonight, mind you the 2 BRANDY AND COKES worked a treat the other night and very nice they were too ;)

Right off to sort a few square colours, have a good evening everyone

    Afternoon everyone
No-one here again, you must all be busy today. Hope you haven't all had the rain we've had here. My poor garden is nearly drowned.

Sue, your blankets are lovely, every single one different and all finished beautifully.
Shaz, glad you enjoyed the meet up with Dawn and Pam. How did the massage go?
    F1, your MIL is priceless!
PTB, that wool sounds like a real bargain. What plans do you have for it?
Jean, can I be a tester for your cake please?
MrsMW, hope you’re feeling a little better today.
Chalky, hope you all have a lovely time at the wedding today. I was hoping to do something with yoyo’s a while back, but other stuff got in the way. I’ll be keen to see what you do with them.
Pippa, sorry to hear about your mum, the six weeks will be gone in no time.

I’d like some help if you can please. A while back someone posted some pics of snowmen they’d made (not sure if it was Chalky or Roaming). I’m trying to make some and I’m not happy with the patterns I’ve tried so far. I only want ornament sized ones, so if anyone has the pattern that’d be brilliant. Thanks.

Thinking of all the many mia’s and people feeling low and poorly.
    Love and hugs to everyone

Lisa my snowmen are done on the knitting machine I can certainly let you have the pattern but not sure how it would translate into hand knitting IYKWIM..did a search on the internet tho and found tons on knitting pattern central. Let me know if you would like the machine pattern perhaps you are clever and can convert it - I am certainly not!

this one is the closest to the ones I do,although I join the black to the white and also do an 8 row picquot (sp) for the brim of the hat then pull the wool through the last of the top hat and end up with it as a bowler.
