Last in today..sorry, I needed a tiny bit of pink wool to complete a hat, knew that I had hanks of pink 4 ply that Lou gave me when I visited last May. Along with a load of other hanks of wool they were all in a huge laundry basket in the spare bedroom. Well I hadn't allowed for the fact that the MONSTERS had been here over the summer and obviously one of them decided they could wind the wool into balls for me NOT!!! The pink wool is only 365 grams but at present its spaghetti ..I have spent most of today trying really hard not to swear and failing miserably. Think I have about 100 grms in a ball the table is covered in it and I am not a happy bunny; I am due to baby sit two MONSTERS tomorrow so will investigate - boys will be boys tho' and I don't expect anyone to fess up. I have checked the other hanks and they are all fine.......so obviously they decided against trying their luck with them.......gggggggggrrrrrrrrrr. Hope you have all had a far better day than I have, off early in the morning for the all day sitting on boys job but I may manage to pop in when I tie them to the wash pole and play cowboys and indians!

Hi all, just a quick pop in.
Chalky (& Jean) - re the box - is it by any chance the blanket box Kathy was decanting stuff from so she could put other stuff into you`re thinking of ???
Been doing the dreaded h****work today - groan - but I`ve managed to complete another wip. Sewed on the edging for a preemie sized sands type blanket. Another step closer to D day. (D ecide what to do next) Can`t make up my mind if I`ll do something for me.......or LH ??
Might do a jumper for the chilly days as they are just round the corner, definitely a nip in the air sometimes.
DS had a visit from cardiac rehab nurse today. She`s very impressed with his progress, but then as she said, most of her patients are a lot older than him and maybe also a bit more cautious about doing things after their heart attack / operation. Did warn him not to do toooooo much tho` - don`t expect he`ll listen to her any more than he listens to me.
Lovely pics of
the wedding Chalky, looks like you all had a great time.
Beautiful blankets Mrs Twins.
Sock knitter, prfungi. and PTB - I`m so envious of your bargains. Wish there was somewhere up here where we could get sooo much yarn for not many pennies. And coffee and cake thrown in - well not literally !!!!
Right off for a cuppa and get on with the next UFO.
Have a good evening and hugs to those in need, and to all the `mums` as well.

Home after a very long day so no knitty stuff to be done. Just about to snuggle under blanket, watch 71 deg n and then bed.
Roaming you have my sympathies - I loathe untangling wool but thankfully mum loves it so she does mine! She also does the unoicking when I go wrong which is heaven as a most loathes task!
