Hugs to Elaine and dibuzz - how sad feeling very choked for you xx

Mioliere - yes I had contemplated the electronic ones - I know I need to give up - hubby gave up straight away in January after being in hospital - don't smoke in the house so do have to go out in all weathers so yes I must give it serious thought - went down to tobacco a few years ago to save on the money of real cigs but still that's gone up so think of the money in the pots ! Xx

I started a sands blanket but have only managed about three rows!
So on that note I should go and do some more

    Hugs all round x

    I'm here too, lurking.
Feeling a bit brighter now that neighbour's funeral is past now. Post mortem showed damage to his heart but not much soot in his lungs. Looks as if he had a heart attack and didn't suffer too much thankfully. His daughter is moving back into the house, she used to live between him and me, so will be nice to have her back in the street.

Had a bit of online retail therapy yesterday, buying something I don't really need.;) bet you can't guess what it was. Now looking forward to getting a parcel next week.

Sands blanket coming along nicely,on the decrease now so just the border to do. Only a few stitches but it seems to take ages to do. Have a little hat on needles as well, just for a change when I get fed up.

Off to do a bit more while watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in Top Hat.

Sorry to read of sad times for lovely people.

Sadly our eldest daughter fell over in the gym yesterday( dangerous places! )
She was ambulances to Torbay on a morphine drip with a suspected broken ankle.

In a way it's sad because there is no break but torn ligaments.severe strain. They are saying it could take up to six months to heal!!!!

She is in excruciating pain and very, very tearful.

So it's going to be a difficult time for her. Bless her heart.

I gave launched " Share a shirt for September" on Facebook ... Pop in if you fancy a peep

Lots of love to all x

My daughter did the same playing rugby, she was out for months and was told torn ligaments are far worse than a broken bone for healing.
