Smelly dog is now sulking - I usually have to do 'stealth bathing on him' as he detests the bath/water/hose etc.
perhaps he won't be so quick to go rolling in future - well for a week or two.

Well Doh is helping DD1's partner who is undergoing an EXTREME DIY project( do you remember ours 2 years ago?) same lad! So I have had a few quiet hours . Me,Archie and my sewing machine.

I had to get stuck into today. Dd1's partners mother was widowed aged 40+ a couple of years ago and of course has struggled enormously. She had some favourite shirts of her husbands left and a friend of hers suggested making them into bunting. What a brilliant idea, so of course,me and my new sewing machine were asked. It felt so strange to cut up the shirts. But, I have managed a row of 40 double sided pennants. It looks amazing. I have purposely left some of the shirt details on show. Pockets, buttonholes etc. And there was bough material over to make a patchwork cushion . So I am well chuffed that job is done.

    Love to all MIAS.

AND HAPOY BIRTHDAY PFUNGI... We Miss you x x x

What a lovely thing to make with his shirts Chalky. By the way I have nearly finished Mrs Twins blankets, should be ready to post this week. Just the edging rows to do on 3 of them, one is finished completely xx

I spoke too soon Hubby came home late last night as he was cold and tired. We had to let him try and he was in good hands. When he rang I had to run and reconstruct his bed as I had stripped it and stood the mattress on its side to air :D

Its still flipping raining here :(

Thanks Ginny. I gave managed to make a cushion cover and draw string bag this morning from the remnants so that's that job done and dusted.

Now thinking of the weekend I have packed away the machine, hoooooovered around and set everything shipshape. That wing mast long though as a new idea us bound to pop into my head.

Just sending the gentlest thoughts to everyone with their hands overflowing at the moment. Xxx
