    UPDATE

    7 prem bodywarmers
    9 baby hats
    1 pair baby mitts
    1 pair handwarmers
    1 baby blanket
    3 hedgehogs

Pippa - maybe it`s the meds which are affecting mum's appetite. I know when I was on the strong painkillers I didn`t eat much. Even when I fancied something particular, by the time it came to eat it I`d either gone off the idea of it, or only had a couple of mouthfuls and could not have swallowed any more. Hope Edna pushes off soon too. Big hugs for you.

Chalky - thought your sil`s doggy was white ? That`ll be a Westie, Scotties are black.:D well mine were anyway. Snowy and Cinders - guess which was which. Cinders was born in the coal shed and could hardly be seen among the coal.:rotfl:

Off to play some games for a while then back to crafting later.
BTW the doctor signed me off work for another month so will get some more wool used up.;)

Will go and change sig now.

Welcome Sparky, you wont find a nicer place for a chat and support.

Pippa, I understand entirely the other problems your Mum is having with the morphine - my life revolves around Oh's' problems', thats probably why she isnt hungry -she's full up! I do hope her appetite returns soon, Im sure you will tempt her with all the goodies everyone is taking xxx

Chalky, thank you for your kind thoughts. had a thoroughly lovely time and put the sadness on the back ring for the day. My cousin loved a good party so I poured an extra cuppa and sat it in my office for her with a piece of cake. Dd's Oh cooked a beautiful meal at their house and transported it here so no mess no fuss and we could all relax - bless him. My brother came to drop my Mum off and we got to have a chat without his horrible wife - I think he knew she would spoil things. Oh's brother and wife came for couple of hours which was lovely.

Oh found it a bit noisy and tiring but had a lie down until Dgs went and got him for blowing the candles out. We thoroughly spoiled Oh and he loved it. I know have to go and sort out all the knitting and yarn I stashed out of sight :rotfl: so I may be gone some time!

Just popping in to send hugs to all in need. Pippa, I hope your mum has a better day today.

Elaine - I'm glad you will be spending that month using up more wool; the doctor obviously thinks you need more time to recover, so make sure you take it easy!

Will do the update as soon as I can - time has run away from em again; I just wish I knew why. How I ever found time to work full time, I'll never know!

Weather grey and gloomy most of the time, interspersed with the odd five-minute burst of sunshine. Hope it's better for everyone else on here, especially after Bertha seems to have caused havoc in some areas, including France - luckily, it seems we just missed it here!

I've been missing in action too. For the past month I've been knitting a lace scarf for DD and it's growing very slowly. DH read the band on the ball of yarn and pointed out that was over 1 km of yarn in the ball!

I have finished my knitting for the shoe boxes-6 hats, 6 scarves, 6 pairs of mitts, 6 pencil cases, 6 purses and 6 soap bags. There's still some yarn left so may do more once this scarf is out of the way.
