Hi Chalky, my Ds got married in Vegs last year whilst on holiday - I guessed they were going to do it and gave my blessing. They are now having the marriage blessed in church followed by a laid back party with a Vegas theme. Part of the decision was cost but the other was Hubby and Dgs couldnt cope with a big normal wedding.

So the family have rallied round and are doing the buffet, flowers, cake, invites and decorations. I did the invites for £4 and now am on table decs. Ds has done big dice for next to the buffet table and bunting made from palying cards.

I use photobucket for my photo's and picked it up quite easily as one of my forums only allows quite small pics so I edit them on it.

F1 honey is one of the oldest ways to heal things. They usually use Manuka honey £15 a jar but basically any new jar can be used. I first heard about it 30 years ago when Mum had a hysterectomy and they used it on the wound. My first aid box is bandages, plasters, jar of manuka and the aloe vera plants on my windowsill.

hope everyone is keeping dry this weekend and having a nice time xx

Morning all, quiet here just now. Suppose hols and nice gardening weather are keeping everyone busy.

Had a wee smile at the honey and cobwebs treatments. They might have got my leg better more quickly than the dressings the nurse used. Still have a two inch scab grimly hanging on, but obviously it's not quite ready to fall off so I WILL NOT PICK IT OFF, however much I would like to.

Started a knitted blanket on Sunday night, change from the crochet granny ones. It's the one F1 did a wee while ago and coming along nicely.

Had a trawl through my pattern box the other day for inspiration and came across so many old faithful patterns from when my twins were born,(they are 41 now - where did the time go ? ) and all mum's and mil's stashes too. Got so many I want to do again, but I think I'd need to have a dozen pairs of hands to get through them in this lifetime.

Anyway, must finish this blankie first and sew up the granny one and add the border before I start on the oldies.

Hope you are all ok and not too stressed by LIFE.
    Enjoy your day.

I have been getting up to date on all the little niggley (Sp) jobs around the garden/house etc with the intention of having a couple of days down on the coast with the monsters - but not to be this week. SIL's car is now in the garage to get a fuel leak fixed, so am back to being the chauffeur for the shopping - only because himself says its too expensive to run the camper back and forward to the shops, so will continue with a bit of craftyness and programme in a break later on in the month.
I hope you are all well and all the poorlies are on the mend oh and the sun is still shining for you all as well.

SO WHO is STEALING my DAYS???? Am I the only one to notice this phenomenon?

Not a clue where this week has gone, I am only just catching up with Mondays washing today - I shall be shot if I don't get sorted
Love and cuddles to you all - good wishes to all the poorlies.
