trying photies again - cos I now have a brand new pooter and system.............info to follow Yeah that worked.....

CHALKY.........I gave up on photobucket (money for photies - not blooming likely) using flickr.
Upload photos to flickr then click on the individual photo to the bottom right hand side of the picture there are
three options first is a square with a pencil through it EDIT next is an arrow SHARE and last is a line with an arrow
    facing down into it DOWLOAD
I click on SHARE..........then choose BBcode
choose the size you wish to use I think I used small 240 x 320 - but don't quote me on that one
then copy the code and past it into your post

also have you thought about doing your own soaps??? MELT & POUR............easy peasy................

Just popping in for a quick looksie.

Pippa- big hugs for you and mom. Hope the opportunity goes well and she's on the mend soon.

    Mrs mp-how is mil ?

Chalky - Nearly squishy hug time again. Yippee.

Soaps, hmmm -reminded me that I can't stand the overpowering smell that comes out of one in the big city. Nothing 'lush' about that in my opinion.:p
Some of the body shop ones are lovely though.

Make your own ? Don't think I could be bothered.

Well insurance company not very generous. After taking off a VERY hefty excess because DD is under 25, a rusty third hand pushbike is about the limit.:(

So I've had to dip into my 'funeral fund' (hopefully won't need it for ages) and purchased another motor.
Have gone upmarket a wee bit and now own Ma's Merc. :rotfl::cool:

Just a little one, well it's a good bit bigger than the puddlejumper, so hopefully will last for a good few years.

It's really bigger than I need but as DS said, I might have paid a bit more for a smaller one. We'll see how it goes.

Will pop back later with a woolly update, keep forgetting. It's my age!!
    Enjoy the rest of Sunday.

Love and (((hugs))) to all who are ill or caring for others who are. Fighting the corner of those who have to negotiate the healthcare system while feeling at their worst is sadly very necessary these days.

I hate the way that the elderly are treated in hospital - either patronised or ignored. Thank goodness your Mum has you to keep an eye on what is happening Pippa.

I am continuing to sort through the house trying to get it presentable enough to show to an estate agent. Quite cathartic getting rid of things I have hung on to for years although a slow and difficult process!

Anyone heard from ISOM lately? She seems to have dropped of the radar

Happy baaa-day to you, happy baa-day to you !! :rotfl::T

probably Mrs mp's fingers were flying over the keyboard too fast. Either that or predictive text, grrr hate that.

Not much happening here today, too bloomin hot to do much.
Spent about 15 minutes cutting back a geranium to see if it will flower again, then a stroll round the block - too hot for brisk walking. Rest of the day spent indoors out of the sun.

Still working on the turquoise and white grannies, but DD asked last night if I could do a blue and white blanket for her friend whose baby boy is due mid August. That'll use up the last of my Marriner yarn order.
Will have to see about ordering some more.......wouldn't like to run out.;)

Hope everyone / other halves/ rellies are ok - or getting better.
