Google throwing me out continually is a PAIN!

mrs Moneypennyi am so sorry that your Mother in Law is in hospital and having to have such a big operation. It is such a worry and I know even if you do get away your thoughts will be with her all the time. Just play it by ear and most importantly I hope there is good news about the op.

Kathyob! What a lovely post and I am so glad you had such fun. Have a great weekend too. Those bags are amazing aren't they.

shazgood luck on your holiday and more importantly I hope this new chapter in your life proves to be a happy and rewarding one.

jean i am so glad you are having a lovely time with your visitors.

Ginnyindeed, I hope you have the best birthday celebrations.

psso how is your rehabilitation going. I hope , really well.

Lots of MIA,s ...... Hope you are just having lovely sunny, summery days not troubled ones.

Well I am really relaxing before operation happy days start again on Sunday. I am so useless at accurate cutting with a rotary cutter but Doh took pity on me this morning and gave me a Technical drawing lesson. He was brilliant so patient and I get it!!!i am chuffed to bits.

Right I send love to each and every one of our sisters here but must go as I am taking my DSIL out this afternoon. Still helping her to settle in and find her way around xx

Mrs mp- Glad to hear the good news of mil.

Jean - is that grass cut yet ?

Chalky - well done with the cutting. Isn't it great when something finally 'clicks' and all becomes clear.

Kathy - good to hear you had a good time partying.

Shaz- enjoy your knitting holiday. Might manage something like that one day but not for a while.

Well, not so good news here. Looks like my little car has had it.
DD ran into the back of an Audi this afternoon and my puddlejumper came off worst.

DD and little J are both OK, just a bit shaken up as you would imagine. She thought I would go ballistic but as I said to her it's just a box on wheels. As long as they weren't hurt, that's the main thing.

Insurance reckon it probably isn't worth repairing given the age and damage, so by the time they knock off the very large excess -as she is only 22 - there might be enough to buy a very rickety pushbike. Will find out tomorrow.
Really could do without this expense right now, but these things happen.

    See you tomorrow.

Hope the insurance offer something better than the rickety AULD BIKE - I have tons of them in the shed!
Glad that H & wee JJ came off ok if shaken and shocked.
Should we all start to knit/crochet or even quilt a wee motor for yoos, I have tons of padding stuff from the auld duvets?

    Morning all
feeling a bit swollen and bruised today, remember the broken tooth ?? well it had to come out yesterday afternoon...
and oooo did it hurt it took ages to get the root out as the whole of the one side had broken off...at least its gone now so lots of salt water mouthwashes should sort it out, dentist said there was a bit of infection starting so that was what made it start aching...

mrs-m - good news about your MIL,
shaz - have a lovely time on your knitting holiday, hope everything else works out for you x
psso - shame about the jalopy but so glad DD and J were ok, hope the Insurance company have second thoughts
chalky - awww he gets cuter each time we see him
kathy - sounds like you had a great time dancing the night away

I haven't done much crafty stuff lately except for the knitted dishcloths they are are mounting up into a small pile now...

OH's cousins DD...(would that make her a second cousin)? well anyway she sort of hinted she would 'just love a crochet blanket in bright colours' so that looks like my next project ;)

himself has just come in from mowing and said he is dehydrating !!! so I better go put the kettle on
    love to all Anne x
  • Anne straight alcohol tastes much nicer than salty water!
