DH & DS due back here tomorrow night so I am 'attempting the impossible' - getting caught up with the washing, ironing, the whole house clean and the grass cut and garden sorted..............NOT A SNOWBALLS HOPE EH

Believe I shall make a start with some cake baking and perhaps get around to the other 'yuk stuff' later - or not he he

I am certain Mrs Moneypenny that MIL will be well looked after and although yesterday was a proper trial she is now in the best place to get sorted. Be kind to yourself over the weekend - snatch a nap now and again, put your feet up if only for 10 minutes, or even just a bit of crafting, to take your mind of things.
Sending tons of love and squishy cuddles to you all

    :hello: smee again.

Had a lazyish day yesterday as tired after yet another bad night but have caught up a bit today.

Been a 'bitty' sort of day all round - did a bit of gentle weeding out front early, before it got too hot.

Then came inside and had breakfast and did a bit of crochet, threw the towels in the machine and did a bit of washing up.

Came back through for a bit more hooky, drove DS to drink ;) they're having a charity day at the pub - darts matches etc.

Bit more weed culling and hooking, stopping for some refreshment in between and now I've decided to have a couple of glasses of something white and see if that helps the sleep situation.

I will not be taking the tablet which tells me to avoid alcofrolic beverages. It's supposed to help me sleep - huh.

Off to do some more work on the turquoise and white squares for the next blanket.

    Enjoy the weekend.

  • QUESTION PSSO did the ditching the tab-a-letts work for the sleep?
Mrs Moneypenny That all sounds encouraging news for your MIL, continued love coming your way.
Well, being the 'unperfect' mother that I am I have made pancakes for breakfast and the boys are now suitably stuffed - well till sandwich time I expect. They both arrived very late last night and exhausted - so will get to spoil them for a day or two - don't want them thinking I am going soft!

    UPDATE

    4 baby hats
    1 angel set

I am having an afternoon on the knitting machine as I have a new pattern for a chevron blanket - yes it will tax my pea brain but I have to have a go at it.

Ye all have a marvelous day - I intend to just continue to nick squishy cuddles off the fellas - well till they get thoroughly fed up with me! he he

What a bummer psso - I think the hammer suggestion is a bit much tho' - try the camomile tea first!

Bastille day today so I am having the day off - well apart from trying that chevron baby blanket on the machine I can concentrate on that while the bikes are on this afternoon.
Have a fantastic day folks...........I have a brand new big computer with a load of new stuff that I also need to be investigating, so that will also keep me busy.............

schools out for summer (sang in a loud Alice Cooper voice) so i have 6 weeks off!!!! ha ha ha
plan today is get DS1 out of his pit and to work - DH went ages ago.
nip round mils clean etc ring hospital and check todays plans, if shes staying in im going to visit this afty with DD2 so i can speak to an actual dr and find out what they are doing/planning for her.
will visit again with DH tonight and also want to pull in some knitting not decided what yet.

jean have a lovley Bastille day and enjoy your cuddles.

i do hope everyone is as well as can be and each coping with their respective lots that life is throwing their way.

bought a bag of knitting needles at the boot yesterday, me and DD2 spent a happy hour in the back garden yesterday pairing them up and putting them together with loom bands (dont tell DS2 we used lots of his) and then shared them between us, i got a lovely little set of crochet hooks so now have most sized - no excuse not to try doing it again.
