Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news Chalky, but our local Dunelm has quite a lot of wool on the shelves.:rotfl:
Love that monster quilt, William will love it too.
Jean, can certainly send a scan of my pattern - blue crayon and all- but would imagine dugald will come up with Mayflower's original. The only difference is literally the number of stitches used.
If I didn't have the printed copy here in front of me I'd think I had dreamt it :rotfl:
Off round the block now but will go on puter when I get back and do it, on the kindle just now.

Hi everyone
Just done the spready which you can find here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhOgVamMPLdkdDREdE9nS2pPYTRlcFQ3Ujc5ekNKamc&usp=drive_web#gid=0 Thanks to Jean for keeping it up to date for me!
Nothing from me this week; well, I do have some Innocent Smoothie hats which need finishing off, but I will add them later.
The house is in turmoil at the moment; DH went off to buy gas hob yesterday and liked a stainless steel one (even though I said white to match the oven). Well, he bought the stainless steel one and an oven to match, so I now have a brand new oven, too! Neither is actually installed yet, though, and we have a viewing tomorrow morning so he just has to get it done. So, the kitchen is in uproar and I can't get to anything.
I will go and take a look at Chalky's blog now. I still haven't really caught up with the posts I missed while I was away, but will try and do that, too.
Thank you all for your kind words about my Mum. It definitely makes me feel happy to know that her quality of life is so much better now that she will use the wheelchair and the nebuliser.

Ginnyknit - here is the original Mayflower's version.

The larger one I have is between this size and Marianna's smallest one. If you'd like the 'complete' set give me a shout and I can email it to you, assuming roaming Jean's pal dougald is not successful.
I usually change the pattern slightly and do the final 6 rows in garter stitch without the button so that it more matinee jacket style.
Kathy - a new hob AND oven.....who's a lucky girl then.
At this rate you will be wanting to stay where you are to enjoy your new toys.
Mrs mpeg - good luck vibes flowing in your direction for your mil. Hope it's not as serious as you fear. Have a squishy hug to give you strength.
Back later.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Steady on, Elaine; I wouldn't go that far! It's lovely having new toys, though, even if they are of the domestic variety!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Fingers crossed for you.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Well done that woman ! You are a star.
I'll just go and save it in my patterns memory stick with all the other ' to do' things.
When I was checking there this morning I came across a couple of things which might be my next projects. I usually save them for later.......and promptly forget about them.
Thanks again for finding it Jean. Saves me having to go and type it up.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.
