trying out flickr photo share - if it works I will make notes!!
The little burial gown and hat were found lurking in the back of one of the knitting bags. Started about a year ago but as it was 3 ply I wasn't keen to say the least. The ribbon & bow embellishment cover up the fact that there was a difference in yarn colour for about 3 rows - probably due to the fact the ball was languishing in the bottom of the bag- no matter how many times I washed it I couldn't shift it, happy enough with the result tho' and will likely go and start another.
UPDATE
4 baby/preemie hats
1 Angel set (that's what I am calling it anyway) (under Angel pockets, wraps and bunting??)
1 Little Yellow Duck (only remembered it when I saw Mrs Moneypenny posting hers - what a twit I am)
Off to see if this has worked

Hello you lovely friends. I woke up at 5.15 and thought of him. No surprises there then.
I waited very, very patiently for news going on the premise that no news is good news.
Well, the plaster is off. He is back home and that is wonderful. But, we are not quite out of the woods yet as the combination of fibreglass plaster, heat and urine has literally left him with a complete band around his waist ,hips and bottom which looks as if he has been burnt in boiling water.
The consultant has given them antibiotic creams and he has to go and see the determatologist on Wednesday . No swimming or anything until then. Bless his little heart . It looks so sore and angry.
He has tried moving around the floor but obviously not put any weight on his legs yet or tried to stand. He looked very sad on Skype BUT the plaster has gone and all this will sort itself in time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindnesses .... It has helped me more than you know.
Still hectic here with visitors and trying to get DSIL and family settled in their barn. Think they may move into tomorrow.
XxxxxxTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
been checking regularly looking for news of the plaster caster being removed
so thank you so much CHalky..... little bit of sunshine on his wee body and the anti-bioticals will all work wonders he really will be running around in no time at all. Thank you so much for sharing.

Oh, Chalky, poor little William. I know that in your heart of hearts you just want to see him back to his sweet boisterous little self, but it seems that it will need just a little extra time and TLC until he gets there. BUT he will get there, I know. The plaster is off, lots of positive vibes are being sent his way, and he has devoted and loving parents to take care of him. Each day things will get a little better and then, one day, you will realise that he is completely over it. This must be awful for his parents; they must feel as if this whole episode will never be over.
I will keep sending virtual hugs and kisses; take some for yourself and DH, too, because this is a horrible experience for grandparents.

Jean, that little gown and bonnet are both gorgeous, and I can't see a difference in colour at all!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

I'm glad little William is free from his cast, he will be running round again in no time but his legs will feel strange for a while. Hopefully his skin will recover quickly now he can get some air to it.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

Good to see William is cast free. Are his legs all floaty?
My brother thought his leg was going to float away without the weight of the cast to hold it down. He was about six at the time and held on to his leg just to make sure it stayed grounded.
Chalky - I thought I had thanked you for the surprise you sent me, there was no need to do that, but I appreciate it.
Friends sending each other wee pressies now and again, for no particular reason- not birthday etc -just because............ lovely thoughts. Lovely people.
Had a wee walk along to the end of the road today, about 100yds then back again, then went for a lie down.

Coo-ee folks............. we have some rain today so I am in doing some knitting - hope it continues all week as I have a bedroom to paint too, but I am not in a rush to get around to that little number just yet. I am banned from DH's shed - as there is a blue tits nest with babies in (you know how I feel about stuff that flies), seems the door has been left open long enough for them to get in and build and lay eggs and hatch them- wonder how that happened -IT WASN'T ME!! Ye all have a terrific day whatever you intend doing with it.
