Morning all, many thanks for your kind thoughts and good wishes.
I can assure you all that I am doing very little other than breathing, the painkillers see to that, fall asleep whenever I sit down.
I'm actually getting quite restful, refreshing sleep so all good. Small amount of exercise, walking from front door to back several times a day. DS says we will venture outdoors today, maybe 100 yds or so.
He's being an absolute star, from pulling on my circulation stockings before he goes to work, coming home at lunchtime to feed me and the dogs and cooking the meal when he gets in after work. His food is much better than the stuff in hospital, it was absolutely dire.
DD has been doing housework, shopping and keeping little J out of grandma's way.
Bless him, they came to bring me home and he came over and gave me a gentle hug, not one of his usual boisterous squishy ones, and whispered" I've missed you gramma, but I'll be gentle."
No woolly stuff happening here yet, can't stay awake long enough, although I did do a few squares between tests before the op last week.
