shaz - hope you are having a lovely time on your woolly break
jean - I had skype on this lappy at one time but it caused a problem so OH took it off... I'll ask him to try it again when we get back from holiday

MrsTwins came this morning to collect the blankets I brought back from chalky's, she thought they were lovely and so colourful, and said the old people will be so pleased with them.
We were chatting away and she told me the blanket totals are getting towards 700 now...thats a lot of blankets since 2010 when she started SIBOL... I wonder if that includes the shawls

Oh is getting the cases out so I better go grab them as he chucks out the loft.
    Love to all Anne x

    :hello:Yoohoo, I'm home.

Got home after lunch time, had a wee snooze then DD1 popped in with grandkids for half an hour.
Now waiting for DS to get home from work and feed me.

Didn't have the kindle in hospital with me, only certain parts where moby's,ipads etc were allowed and my bed wasn't one of them.

Never mind, lots to catch up on over the next couple of days, in between naps.

    Be back sometime soon.

Chalky - you are there for all of us when needed; I'm so glad to be one of those there for you during this horrible time for you and your family.

Elaine - a warm and delighted welcome back to you. It's wonderful to have you back here. Please, though, take it easy, as I am sure you have been told!

    Hi everyone

Yes, Chalky, yesterday was a good day for us on here with the news about William and Elaine's much-awaited homecoming. And yes, the Duck project is lovely, isn't it? My ducks are smallish because I am using 4-ply (having run out of yellow DK for now) but they are still ducks! I shall make one each for each of our ferry trips there and back, one to leave in Weston-super-Mare, one to leave in Southampton, and one to leave here in France, so my little family of ducks will be spreading their wings!

Elaine - I hope you are recovering well.

Ginny - I hope you and your OH have a good day.

Well, the sun is beaming away here, so I hope it is for everyone. I am baking today, hopefully my last baking session with my very old mixer - I have just ordered this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008820EY4/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0051U27RI/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and can't wait for them to arrive.

I will also be making our weekly batch of Chalky's Ikea cookies - DH can't seem to live without them these days!
