Jean, that's a brilliant idea! I don't know how many people can be on Skype at a time, though, but it's definitely a great idea.KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Hi all I think I'm going to get banned from you lit soon for being soon absent.
Catching up quickly was really really pleased to see Psso is doing well, chalky back home , shaz has had her pre-op finger crossed for op.
When I read about poor William I'm heartbroken poor little man if I feel like this I can only imagine how chalky you and family feel. I chuckled at the thought of iPad hide and seek although I'm hoping jean doesn't suggest it for the online group session !!!
And so to that can I be included ???
Meet ups would be lovely I often hope someone is passing they are always welcome for a pitstop - tea, coffee, cake, biscuits etc all available even a lucky dip in either the card stash or wool stash you would all be more than welcome xxx
News here days fly by .... Hubby has his pre-op on Tuesday and is booked in for third op on his eye/sinus 17th June
I know I keep promising to make more effort to get on I do miss you all xxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -
Hi everyone. I hope you are all having a good day, especially Elaine, and little William.
First of all, F1, no one will ever be banned from here for being absent, so please don't worry. We all lead busy but different lives so no one is expected to post every day. I have not been on here much lately simply because the events of life (and sometimes that infernal PITA, Edna) seem to take over and time just whizzes by. I am sure it's the same for most of us. I suspect there are some people who used to post regularly on here who pop in just to see how the thread is going, but feel they have left it too long to come back. Please don't feel like that; everyone is welcome, no matter how often they post, and that definitely includes you, F1!
Anakat - I see that 61 Little Yellow Ducks have been found in seven different countries, which is fantastic. My first one just needs the head stuffing and some eyes, which I will get done later on this evening. I'll add it to my total today, though, because it's almost finished.
Pippa - thanks for your Flickr link; your makes are all beautiful.
That reminds me that I have had trouble logging into Wooligans on my laptop; it's fine on my desktop, but that is so so slow in comparison, and the monitor has almost given up the ghost, and I keep forgetting to sort it all out. I use the laptop all the time now. I am trying to keep tomorrow free of hassle, so will try and sort Wooligans out so that I can access it.
Out neighbouring farmer has just 'released' the last of his cows, the ones that have recently calved, from their winter quarters on straw in the barn. They are the most gorgeous shades of ginger and chestnut and look really beautiful in the evening sun, especially the oh-so-cute babies that think they are spring lambs.
Anyway, here is the update: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhOgVamMPLdkdDREdE9nS2pPYTRlcFQ3Ujc5ekNKamc&usp=drive_web#gid=0
My total for this week: Lap blanket: 1
Little Yellow Duck: 1
I've made a mandala for Lucy at Attic 24, for the regular Yarndale event that she helps with in her neck of the woods, but that is not really a charity item, so have not added that. Here are the details of the project for anyone who fancies doing a mandala - I warn you, as Lucy says, they are addictive! http://attic24.typepad.com/ You will need to scroll down a bit for the details, and the address for sending them.

absence makes the heart grow fonder springs to mind when I pop in here of a morning..........get to see who has been and left messages,(you nightshift peeps), folks just popping in to let us know how they are fairing, wonderful links to other lovely places, sharing the ups and downs that life chucks at us.
Yes you and everyone else can join in the skype stuff - still haven't had a proper look at it but I will, off course we can have ME in the tunnel - but I am NOT sharing any of the drainpipe strawberries - they are all for DH (well, he can dream). Chalky - yes, we are booking the ferry this week, so will be going back at the end of May/beginning of June! So glad little William is doing so well. You watch, he will bounce back full of beans and there'll be no stopping him!
Jean - looking forward to a joined-up Skype! I had to do my first duck in 4-ply because I've run out of DK. It still makes a nice little ducky!
Anakat - yes, I love the thought of leaving at least one duck on the ferry, but I will do one for the trip to the UK, and save another one for the trip back to France.
Well, the brilliant sunshine turned to rain then back to sunshine again. I thought this was supposed to be May not April.
Elaine - I hope you are doing well and will soon be back at home where you belong.
Well, I am turning out my kitchen cupboards, and the contents are all over the place, so I'd better get back to it.
