    Today I have:
    • Checked my bank account
    • Checked my credit report on CreditExpert
    • Done some daily comps
    • Paid £15.61 to my credit card on top of the £40 SO for this month. This won't show until tomorrow though.
I rang up Co-op bank yesterday to find out about my application as its been 11 days (7 working days) since I handed it in. Used SayNoTo0870.com to find a number for them :D The lady there has said that it had just been updated that day to say that I'd been accepted :T She said I should get the welcome letter in the next day or so, and should get my card and PIN within the next week.

OH is going to try to get one too, and we're going to use it for the grocery and petrol money. He uses the car most and normally fills it up so it makes sense that he has the best access to the petrol fund. He also finishes work before me so he could in theory go and get some shopping done while waiting for me, instead of playing tetris on his phone :p

I also spoke to my buyer last night, and he has managed to speak to ex and explain whats going on. Ex has now agreed to get stuff signed and sent off, and as a result buyer has sent me money for this months mortgage payment :j hopefully things will move along quite fast now and fingers crossed everything will be sorted by the end of July at the latest.

And as a third good thing yesterday, OH can have the week off at the end of Aug, so it means that we can go on holiday with my dad and stepmum. My first holiday in 3 years... now to start saving for it... :)

Hi D3mon, haven't been on for a while, you've had a lot going on! That's a shame about OH's missing pay, hope they get that and his tax code sorted soon. It's good that your ex has finally done something about the mortgage, hopefully you can get that sorted out soon.

I hope your confirmation that the CCJ is cleared comes through soon, and the refund! It will be nice for that to be gone.

    Great news about the holiday!!

I wanted to put this in somewhere but didn't know where...

This is a poem that I read at a time when I was feeling really down, and it has stuck with me. I've put it in the original Japanese (which is the version that sticks in my head more for some reason) and the translated English.

    XLI - Fujiwara no Kiyosuke

    Nagaraeba
    Mata kono goro ya
    Shinobaremu
    ushi to mishi yo zo
    Ima wa koishiki

    I may live on until
    I long for this time
In which I am so unhappy,
    And remember it fondly.
