Well the last few days have been a disaster i've spent so much money, mainly on crap junk food takeaways and beer, so not good, i've felt so tired and have been so lazy, glad its nearly the end of the month as feel like such a failure this month and want to start again.
Have spent the last 3 day looking after other people children, can't wait for tomorrow, going to have a nice relaxing day, doing very little, well i'm going to sort food cupboards/freezer out and hopefully should have plenty to last us well into next month, need to bake, make jellies etc, also sort out March budget and get on top of things again.
Hope everyone is ok, better go and sort out the front room, kids today have made a junk model robot and there is glue and cardboard everywhere.0 -
Hope you have a lazier day tomorrow Penny.

is there any reason you can pin point the eating crap and spending money on take away's etc ... this is something i have came across myself recently and i am wondering if i am alone ...
i found when everything kicked off with the oh again i just couldnt be !!!!!d with cooking and eating healthy .... in some ways i would say it was emotional eating ... but when i looked up emotional eating it wasnt me .... it's not that i craved rubbish food etc ... i just couldnt be bothered with making it .... and hence like you said i felt crap
i know if i eat healthy i feel healthy ... but when i have so many other things to think/deal with then i feel like i need all my energy for that and not for cooking etc ... if that makes any sense0 -
HI elentan, yes i agree, if i have loads going on then i just can't seem to juggle everything and i then can't be bothered cooking and having to think about it, thats when we eat really badly, yet when everything else is going right then i seem to have the energy to cook and eat healthily.
But it turns into a vicious circle, too much on - can't cope-don't eat properly- feel carp/tired- more stressed- and on we go.
So today i need to go out a nd buy flowers for sister as its her birthday, post last of ebay parcels, put £10 petrol in car and general tidy of house.
Have done meter readings this week and they are awful i know the heatings been on this week with being off work/school but we have used £19.01 gas and £16.23 electric:mad::eek:, really not good and i need to get a grip.
Lasagne and salad for tea tonight, so need to start that off in the slow cooker soon.
DD needs to start her homework project as needs to be handed in next week and she is at pony club tomorrow so no chance of her doing then.0 -
Been and posted ebay parcels, bought sister a lovely Orchid plant thought it would last a bit longer than a bunch of flowers and have put petrol in the car.
Still need to tidy up but have no energy, i really do need a kick up the backside.
Have about £20 left in bank account but get paid Monday so if its still there on sunday it will be winging its way to Barclaycard.
Need to find insurance stuff for car as car tax is due but will get that on Monday when i get paid.
Had a look in cupboards and freezer and they are all fit to bursting, going to try really hard in march to stay out of the supermarket and only buy essentials like fruit and veg, we may be having some random meals but the amount of stuff is ridiculous.0 -
i have to admit i have started taking my meter readings monthly now ... i dont even want to think about how big my bill is ... hubby has been signed off of work for a month (atleast) and he puts the heating on at 7am gets up about 12pm then the heating is on till 2am when he goes to bed .... i wanna scream ... but i am keeping schtum as i think we have enough to deal with just now lol0
-
Oh gosh elantan fingers crossed its not too massive, we are lucky as we have a wood burning stove as well to heat the main of the house, dread to think what our bills would be like without it.0

OMG my mother has been visiting and i could quite frankly kill the bl**dy woman, i am now officially a bad mother because i work, have children and a home to keep, i should according to her stop working and stop kidding myself that i'm capable of doing it all, stop putting a front on that i'm happy and coping as its not healthy and go to the doctors and speak to someone as i'm going to end up having a breakdown, i'm saying to her i am happy, ok get fed up now and again but i'm ok, have a fantastic job that i love and fits around the kids, me and hubby are ok, we have ups and downs but who doesn't. The women is a total headcase, i've spent the last 2 days being critized about every tiny thing from my clothes to what we eat, the decor in the house, childrens behaviour, you name it she has picked at it:mad:.
Breathe she has gone and do not need to speak to her now for a while, just send the occasional email with a hi how are you here are some pics of the kids:).
Went to the cinema yesterday with mother and DS paid with nectar points:Dso free, watched arthurs great adventure or something along those lines, best part was i got to sit quietly for 2 hour and [STRIKE]cruella[/STRIKE] mother couldn't moan, whinge or pick at me:D.
DD had Pony club yesterday so that cost me £50, another thing i got moaned at as apparently its far to dangerous and she should be doing ballet as its far more ladylike, daughters reaction was yeah right i don't think so;), good girl training her well, then got moaned at about that childs manners.
Not made any extra pennies last few days, roll on monday as its payday:j.0
