Well its a new day as you have said mummy and i've had a good nights sleep and feeluing wide awake and raring to go, not going anywhere today as i want to get on with housework and try and get some stuff on ebay.

    To do list-

    Tackle washing mountain.
    Put ALL clean washing away.
    Telephone neglected relatives.
    Clean out guinea pigs.
    Meal plan.
    Bake.
    Photograph ebay stuff.

    That will do to start.
  • hope you managed to get everything off your list done!!! :D

  • Still about, really busy with work/birthdays etc will update tonight when i've got a minute.
  • Evening all, seems like its been one of those weeks and hav'nt had time to post properly.

DD had a fab birthday and all her friends loved her HM birthday cake , infact one mum said to me today that her DD has been moaning at her as she never gets HM cakes and its not fair :D.
Also had a lovely meal out and had a great time just spending time together as a family.

Works manic have loads to do and not enough time to do it all in but at least it makes the day go by quickly.

Hubby was very sweet on Valentines and bought me some lovely roses and cooked tea:D.

Money has gone haywire and i've spent loads in the last few days and really need to pull back somewhere, have listed some things on ebay but to be honest i will be lucky to make a tenner, quidco have paid out another £8.95:), have also recieved a free sample of twinnings ground coffee, which i'm saving for sunday morning, when i can sit lazily and enjoy.

    Hi PWPS

    Hope you're well!

Lucky you getting roses and your tea cooked, what did you have?

I don't think many people do bake birthday cakes nowadays they always seem to be shop bought which is a shame. I love making birthday cakes for my 2, I've made Bob the Builder, Jess the cat, Hedgehogs, football pitches they might not always look as they should but I always try my best.

Glad your DD had a fab birthday :j
  • Hi, just popping in quickly to say - i'm reading and keeping up to date with your progress.
My partner is the same, when i go out to work - i come home and need to start doing housework but when he comes home, he doesn't do anything - not fair is it!!
    xx
  • Valentines tea was steak, chips and salad and GU choc pud, nothing fancy but it was yummy and really nice not to have to cook:).

Nothing much happpening at the minute, have done meter readings this morning, £17.30 for electric and £5.43 for gas, which is so much better than it has been but i really need to get electric down to around 12/13 a week, not going to happen next week as its half term and kids are off.

Work all day and need to make lunch, also need to get sausages out of freezer for tea.

Hope everyone has a good day.
  • Ohh your Valentine's Day does sound good, bless Dh and his cooking!
Glad DD had a fab birthday, DH and i both like making b'day cakes but i think we're in the minority too. Also like eating them!:p
I need to follow your example and monitor the electricity, we have an energy monitor so i must take readings, think i can download stuff too, just haven't done it as the oil is the main thing for us but should watch the electricity too. Still using the tumble dryer daily as it's so cold and damp outside , roll on the warm windy spring!!
