I'm really ready for half term, feel shattered at the minute.
Not alot to update at the minute, trying to keep everything within budget, made some vegetable soup so thats my dinners for the week sorted, need to bake but haven't had much time recently.
Still plodding on with surveys but none are close to paying out at the minute.0 -
Just used a £5 off voucher for holland and barrett, got 2 bags of museli, 2 bags of yoghurt covered raisans and a bag of salt and vinegar rice cakes for £2.29, this included £1.99 delivery:D.0

Morning all, weather is pants again here, at least it means when i drop the kids off at school i don't need to hang around as they let them go straight in rather than hanging around the playground untill 9, means i can drop them off and have time to nip into Tesco for bananas, bread and potatoes before work, saves me having to go in my lunch hour:D. Also need to pay £6 for kids sports club after school will pop it into an envelope as can trust DD to take it to office when she gets into school.
Have a meeting at school today, should be ok, just about progress of a child i work with.
Must try to finish painting skirting boards in the hall today, then the hall will be finished and this weekend i've decided to start the kitchen as we have enough paint left over from the hall:).0 -

MOrning, yesterday turned into a busy day and i didn't get the skirting finished, meeting went well and was generally a good day except for having a row with hubby, why is it if he goes out for the evening when he comes back the house is tidy, children have uniform and everything they need for next day etc etc, i come in from a rare evening out and house is a bomb site:mad:.
Managed to spend £25 in Tesco yesterday and not quite sure what on bought fruit, potatoes, bread, yoghurts and a couple of other bits £25 goes no where nowadays.
Another spend day today £25 for DD horse riding after school and that should be it to day. Have HM soup to take to work for lunch and tea tonight is curry and rice.
HAve a good day everyone.0 -
Morning Pennywise, oh no to your row with DH. Mine does my head in too, im sick of him throwing his laundry down the stairs and then walking over it and not putting it in the basket argh really makes me cross!!!

Afternoon
£3 recieved today into paypal from mysurvey, have £7 in there now.
Feeling really disheartened with money saving at the minute and just lost the will to live with it all, i need to become focused and see that even the little things make a difference to us as a family. Going to try and list the little things i do everyday to save the pennies hopefully this will spur me on.
*So far today i've made some little pots of jelly, used a 6p jelly and little tubs i already had instead of buying the ready made pots from Tesco's.
*Done 2 surveys.
*Taken lunch to work.
So that must have saved/made me a couple of quid when put together.0 -
