Completely stuffed and have eaten way to much, Hubby is chilling out watching footie, this pay rise has made us think about what we can now do future wise, hopefully means we can finish doing up our house and then move closer to hubbies work which always seemed to be out of reach for us, feeling much happier and contented this evening. I know we still need to pay off money we owe but at least things seem to be achievable now.0

MBNA card statement arrived this morning, balance stands at £3965.38:eek:.
Off to a local village fair shortly, kids have been given £5 each and told once its gone tough there is no more;).0 -
Hello
Had a fun afternoon at the village fair, children ate far too much icecream and coca cola, but they had a fab time and where really good and didn't ask for more money,dd even came home with 50p and put it in her money box:).
I spent about £9, won some chocolate buttons and a bottle of wine:D,.
Off to a friends this afternoon, they are having a BBQ, only have to take booze, so taking bottle of wine that i won and lager that hubby was given, a box of carling lager on friday as he helped at a charity clay shoot weeks ago and his mate brought it round as a thankyou, so tonight will be a cheap night for us and it will be great as some mutual friends are going that we havn't seen for ages.
Made £3.50 on ebay this morning, but have spent it on ebay on a lovely New Linen skirt that i bagged for £3.99 including pp:j.
So only a little out of pocket.
Better go and start lunch.0 -

God that sounds like a nightmare! To be totally honest, you can't win either way. You tell her and you're playing a part in a possible break up/you don't tell her then thats not really a nice thing to do. I've been in that situation before, with my sister actually. She didn't want to hear it and I was the one in the wrong for trying to warn her about her then boyfriend (now her DH!) sh*gging about. But then some friends of ours have recently spilt and someone told her about her DH's affair and she said its the best thing thats happened.
Sorry I've been no use there have I?! What a nightmare xTrying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings
MFW target 2012 to save £11,000 for Over Payments/fill ISA's and reduce lots of things - outgoings, alcohol, waste, weight0 -
I've kind of decided to say nothing, but if she asks me i'm not going to lie, if there was no children involved then i would probaly just tell her, god i don't know, wish i had never been told.0

Hi
Have subscribed to your diary - I am going through a phase of reading people's diaries to get extra motivation to pay my own debt off.
I would hate to know about someone's affair because I would be torn - although if it was my DH I would want to know.
This lady may already have suspicions as it is but what if you then fell out as friends.

Thanks EE, I feel so upset for her, Angry and disapointed with him and furious with the other woman, also feel sorry for her husband and children, this is'nt the first time she has put herself about as you can tell by how she is referred to (village bike) around where i live,0
