Well yesterday had to make a made dash to sainsburys as dd had forgotten to tell me that she had told friend that she would be bringing choccie and popcorn to the sleepover, having neither in the house and having only 73p in my purse i took the £10 voucher and went and got the bits required, couldn't really say no as friends mum is paying for them to go to a country fair today and she insisted on paying for dd as she had invited her, so would have looked mean of me. whilst in sains i also bought some cream, going to make gooseberry fools with meringues:D, the forgotten syrup from the other day and some fruit, had to add 35p to the £10 voucher, so a 35p spend yesterday and here was me hopeing for a no NSD.
Postie has been this morning and the only thing he brought me was a bag of golden caster sugar, vagely remember signing up to a freebie for it:), so will be using it to make flapjack.
Not alot on today, just pottering, DD away and DS at footie with DH, so enjoying the peace.0 -
B*ll*cks, B*ll*cks, B*ll*cks.
:(Just photographed a load of stuff to list on ebay, uploaded them, went onto ebay and because i've forgotten to pay my fees only £10(thought i had done it) so can't sell, so now have to wait until wednesday to pay fees then i can put stuff on:mad:. NOTE TO SELF- GET ORGANISED.0 -
Also forgot - had a look on amazon for sandals for ds, asked him which he wanted, he decide he would rather have crocs, so have bought him crocs instead, green alligator ones (nice-not:o) but hes happy with them and i'm happy cos i used amazon vouchers that i had, so in theory have cost me nowt. I apologise now to anyone who wears crocs, i just don't like them personally and think they look clumpy, but son loves them and is very excited.0

Morning Pennywise,
Glad DS was in a better mood for you Friday. Theres nothing worse than grumpy kids!! Im sure his new crocs will cheer him up no end and you aswell since they cost you nothing!! Im not a fan for me but my mum brought DD1 a pair back from Spain and she absolutely loved them, still tries to squeeze her feet in now 2 years later!! And they grew on me then but only on little feet!!
Yay to the bargains you got in Sainsburys for 73p! Hope DD had a nice time at the fair.
Oh dear re Ebay, comes next week they might all have massive bids on them! Ive got some items ending today and 2 out of the 13 have got bids and most of the others have got watchers so we will see later on! Fingers crossed although im not expecting to make millions lol!!!

overtime sheet.
collect daughter by 1.30 to be back for footie (dd friends mum likes to chat).
Have done free scratchcard-10p
withdrawn £5.99 from ciao:D, takes 6 weeks to hit paypal, so will forget about for now as won't see it until August:mad:.
Meal plan:
MON- Omelette and salad
Tue- Lasagne and salad (already made in freezer).
Wed- sausage, HM potato wedges and HM coleslaw
Thurs- HM Pizza and salad/coleslaw
Fri- Hm Quiche, baby jkt spuds and salad/coleslaw
sat- Chicken curry and rice
Sun- Rst pork, rst pots and veg.
Desserts for week will be HM cake of fruit and icecream.
Eggs are free from MIL, Lasagne already made, sausages, chicken, pork in freezer, have some potatoes, should be a cheapish shop:D.
I have curry paste to make chinese curry, but will send hubby to chinese for fried rice as i am useless at making it, must buy a box of prawn crackers so i can make them as well, we used to have a chinese takeaway nearly every week, so at least doing it this way i still feel like we are having a treat, but its much cheaper.
Also hubby likes to have a beer or 2 at the weekend, have seen an advert on tv for tesco, they are doing 3 case of beer/cider for £20, so have told him to go and get them as they will last him this month and next, problem is its not showing online so don't know when its starting:(.
Also planted some salad leaves yesterday, found the packet of seeds in kitchen draw, won't be ready for a few weeks but should shave a few pence off shopping bill and every little helps.0 -
The Tesco offer has already started and will run for the duration of the world cup no doubt. It's an excellent offer. I like Savana Dry Cider and you can get 36 bottles for £20. Winner!Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

Hi...Morrisons were doing 3 cases for £18, but you do need to compare how many tins are in the case as to where the better bargain is.
Don't wish to worry you, but my DD sounds just like your kids with the grumbling and whinging and moaning and she is now 17Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
