 Glad parent's night went ok. The joys eh! My DD is only two and a half and I'm already dreading hers (think it's a girl thing!) - she's so strong willed - it's her way or the highway, it's exhausting!
Good Luck for Ebay stuff Pennywise!

Managed to list 12 things on ebay yesterday, but to be honest the likelyhood of them selling is slim, but you never know.
Dd is being a prize pain in the butt but thats nothing new, came home with lunchbag everything eaten except sandwiches, annonced she does not like chicken in sandwiches, was ok last night in a roast, is ok tonight in a curry, but not in sandwiches, well i've got news for you little lady, you either bl**dy well eat them or you starve:mad:.
today i've managed to spend - £10 petrol, £4 book and £1.30 for a sandwich as i didn't make lunch, but did take some fruit. Also wrote a cheque for £11.50 for milkman.
I've got parents evening tommorrow, should be ok for ds, but dd is another matter.

Obviously I'm not actually in love with you - just amazes me how everything you say and do is happening the same in my household - except the cooking and baking thing is still in the dream stages.
You do so well, You are an inspiration!! You do sound like you need some vitamins or something, sounding run down.
Keep calm and carry on - as the poster on my wall says.

Thanks guys.
Cuckoo - think i am run down at minute, but only got just over a week and t hen i am off for a week and i'm really looking forward to it, going totake it easy as i know when i go back after half term school will be manic with the run up to christmas and the kids get hyper, other thing is because i mainly work with children with behavioural problems in the school i end up just about tearing my hair out:mad:, imagine normal children at christmas and how they become hyper, now imagine children that are like that all the time x by ten and that is what i have to deal with that half term running up to christmas:eek:, oh goodie i can't wait.
I also have a plaque on my kitchen wall that says-
I can only please one person a day......
Todays not your day and tommorrow doesn't look good either.:rotfl:
Forgot hubby owes me £30 for dog food so will get that off him later:), will need to go to tesco tommorrow for potatoes, having bacon, potato things that i found in the freezer and beans for tea, bit lazy but bacon needs eating.
Need to make more bread, soup, flapjack and some other biscuit or cake.
Also must pay bcard, put washing on and i'm going to light the stove as its bl**dy freezing here, CH clicked on this morning and that will not do when we have free logs;).0 -
Well i made soup and flapjack and for some reason the bread i made came out like a brick, don't know what i did wrong, oh well will try again tommorrow, can get away without any tommorrow as kids are on school dinners and can have cereal for brekkie, i will have crackers with soup at lunch time.
Have recieved £10 amazon gift voucher in inbox this evening, so need to add that to sig, going to go and have a look at dolls houses on Amazon in a bit, should just be about there for buying one for DD for Xmas.0 -

Hi Pennywise, glad to read your still plugging away! I have to admire your efforts in baking and cooking week in week out, well done you :T.
Re the dolls house is there one in particular you are looking at? Its just in the seasonal aisle at my local Morrisons I saw one for £30! Looked lovely but im not sure what type your after?!
Oh re the sandwiches apparently my DD doesnt like cheese anymore. So shes gone from absolutely loving it to not touching the stuff?! Its not like she has it all the time either!!
Hope your ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Thankyou.
Having quite a good day today, work was good, kiddies very well behaved, my 2 were also very good this morning and managed to get ready for school without WW3 breaking out, came home to a letter off Inland revenue letting me know they were sending me a cheque for £250 as i had paid too much tax last year:j, so thats this years christmas presents sorted out, really am pleased as i was starting to worry how i was going to pay for everything.
Regarding dollshouse DD is wanting one of the old fashioned ones, the one she has chosen is a Georgian house on amazon and is about £70, it is really lovely, she does have a elc one that i am planning on selling a bit closer to christmas, this is a bit young for her now and she has outgrown it.0 -
Woo hoo glad your xmas is also sorted now - we also got a letter saying they are sending out a repayment
Your so near to being able to get the house then, i bet she will be over the moon with it.GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0
