Don't beat yourself up about the kids having a burger!! I regularly don't finish work till 7-8 pm and hate the thought of cooking then. Dh does cook most nights but has to be basic and simple (out of a jar or packet!) So long as kids are fed I'm happy! ;)

  • Hope your feeling a bit better today! Well done on not going to the chippy! and dont worry about the burgers - its good for the kiddies to have a nice treat for dinner now and again aswell :)
Bit mean of the head to say about changes but not give any ideas to what they are - will leave you wondering till she does tell you.....

  • Good afternoon, still feeling carp:(.

Interesting morning at work spent most of it refereeing as some of the boys seemed to be inclined to do nothing but fight , the language that comes out of some 10 year olds is awful.

Came home to a lovely cheque for £31 from a surveysite and a voucher from tesco offering me £10 off a £50 spend instore and its valid until mid Nov, will probably use it this month, starting to look low on fruit and veg. Postie also brought me an audio book for my grandma for christmas that i won on ebay for the bargain price of 99p:D, will try and get her another couple, she used to love to read but bless her she is almost blind now, so i buy her audio books at least she can sit in bed on cold evenings and listen to them.

Also withdrew £3 from another survey site so that should hit paypal in a couple of days,

Oh have also been offered some overtime at work only a couple of afternoons, only up until christmas holidays but its right time of year to be getting it and extra money will go towards christmas presents.

Decided i'm not paying extra onto cards until all xmas presents are bought, that way hopefully i will not end up using the cards to buy presents.
  • Afternoon.

Not alot to report today, postie brought me nothing but junk mail, oh did recieve sample of ariel stain remover and a £1 off coupon, this happens to be on offer in Tesco at the moment so shall nipped in tommorrow and get some.

Need to pay school dinners bill £27 and also DD has horse riding toninght so another £25.

Need to do some baking but still feeling carp and can't be bothered, Rst pork for tea so need to get that in the oven.
Must also do a Tesco shop as have hardly any fruit or Veg. I NEED A HUGE KICK UP THE BACKSIDE.

  • You're not a waffler - I love how you jot down all in's and out's in detail!

I'm on Mat Leave at the minute but am definitely going to start a diary when my finances go "back to normal" - so far you have driven me to sign up to about 4 survey sites and to free scratchies!

Hope you feel better soon x
  • Have you had the baby yet or are you waiting for the arrival.

JUst recieved £4 survey payment into paypal:) and good old sainsburys has just sent me an email with a voucher for £10 off a £50 grocery spend:j, this is valid until the end of this month so going to use this instead of Tesco voucher as that is valid until middle of November.

Right off to eat rst pork, rst tatties and veggies, yuuummmmmmmmyyyyyy.
  • Yum! Sounds good!

    Baby is here - he's 4 months old :p

Due back to work in Feb - can't wait to go back for a break!

You do really well with all your surveys! You should keep a tally of how much you earn - I bet it's a small fortune!
