It's funny how it's the most unexpected things that can be the most touching! My sister is a teacher and I am full of admiration for the job that all teaching staff do. I can't cope with my 4, never mind a classroom full!!!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120

The thing that gets me is i can cope better with other peoples children rather than my own, I spend all day with children that have emotional and behavior issues and i stay calm, focusd, rarely raise my voice, then i go home and within 10 mins i'm screaming at my 2:rotfl:.0

Well its monday and i'm not at work:j.
Nipped to Tesco's and spent £8, dropped DS at sports club for the day:D, so only have DD at home, she is currently vegging in front of tv, although she does want to make some magnets in a bit, so i think thats an after lunch thing.
DH decided as i was listing things on eBay yeaterday and it was free listing he would empty the loft , but after finding about 6 things to put on, i know have a dining room full of boxes of carp that he can't part with as he needs it, they will probably sit there until i lose my temper, have a huge row and he will sulkily put them back in the loft, i might have a root through whilst he is at work and see what i can find;).0 -
Hi Pennywise, just read right through your diary, phew!
You are doing really well, keep chipping at those debts. I really believe in the every little helps in the debt battle!
I have just decided to get back into surveys properly now after losing hours at my second job to try and make up the difference. You seem to do really well, any tips?
Also, I didn't realise that you could sell extra points vouchers on ebay! Is that any of them?! Must do this!
Will subscribe so I can keep up....:DDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Hi beccie, i seel any points voucher i'm not going to use, if they have your name on just make sure you cover it with piece of paper when taking photo and state in listing that they are named.
I just keep plodding on with the surveys and i'm signed up to loads of sites.
 I officially hate ebay, having problems with a buyer, i sold an item to a person in Europe, i was a bit reluctant but thought it will be ok, they have recieved there item and are complaining that it is faulty, i know it wasn't i checked it a least twice before posting, they have put a claim in through Paypal, its all really suspicious and i'm also a bit upset by it as my feedback is 100% and i'm worried how much this will damage it, plus i'm beig made out to be dishonest and have had some horrible emails from the person, but don't see that i should give a refund, when i know i'm right.0 -
I hate it when peoplw try to pull a fast one like this! I've had it happen to me, but I just refunded to save my 100% +ve feedback - guess that's how they get away with it!!:mad:Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120

Yes its a pain in the backside, but i'm not letting it get me down or put me off.
Well yesterday i cleared out and shredded a load of paperwork, came across a capital one statement, i thought i had closed the account, anyway went online this morning and it turns out i havn't, so i've just rang them up to close account and they offered me a balance transfer 8% until Aug 2012, so 2 years at that rate, so i have transfered £3600 from Barclaycard:D, very pleased, will be about £100 left on BC so need to concentrate on paying that off rather than halifax, then close the account.
So today i will
list 5 items on eBay
Do all surveys
Post 2 ebay items
spend no money
bake cakes.
Roll on friday as its payday and i can chuck some more money at debts.0 -

Did you get the postal insurance when you sent it? Could be that it was damaged in the post? I'm sure you can claim this back?Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...
