Hi Angela, thanks for popping into my diary:D, We are off to Greece:j, very excited, I know some people will tell me off for going away whilst i have debts, but holidays are something i cannot and will not give up, hubby works long hours and is a bit of a workaholic, so we need to go away to have quality time together, we are going all inclusive so everything is paid for, just taking small amount of spending money, incase we want to go on a trip, or an emergency happens.

Ebay ok have made £7.50 today on a BIN item, more items ending tommorrow. Bidding up to £8 at the moment.

Been to in laws for lunch, forgot it was DH aunties birthday so had to nip to Tesco for card and flowers, so £7.50 spent. Came back with new pots, carrots and broc out of garden and a dozen eggs from chucks, so going to have Quiche, new pots, broc and carrots for tea, how brill is that a almost freebie tea:D.
  • Good afternoon, well i have spent most of the day cleaning:(, have gutted the kids bedrooms, cleaned all of upstair and downstairs and i'm now kn*ckered, decided that if house is tidy i can start with flylady tommorrow without it being too overwhelming and hopefully by the time i go back to work after summer hols my house should be sparkiling, now i'm sure my 2 little terrors will have other ideas and my DD is going to have a hissy fit when she gets back from her friends and finds that mummy has dug out her bedroom and sent most of it to the tip, but i'm sure she will get over it:D.

Have made £15 so far today on ebay, have a few more items to finish later, this will be paid of BCard.

One of Dh friends pop over last night and brought us a big bag of spuds from out of his garden:D, so we have loads of potatoes now as we still had some left from in laws.
  • Good morning, managed to make just over £30 in total on ebay this weekend, which i am pleased, waiting for a couple of people to pay then i will withdraw and this will be paid off Bcard:(.

So today i need to post ebay parcels, nip to Tesco for contact lens solution (cheaper than opticians).

Tea tonight is a lovely joint of beef whoopsied to £2.40:D, rst pots, veggies and HM yorkie puds.

Right of to check out flylady and start cleaning:(.

Your posts make me hungry penny! I fancy a quiche now! Not sure I could go through blind baking to make the pastry though etc, Might just have to buy one!

Im actually jealous of your tidying as well, lovely to see finished results! I really feel my mood elevated so much higher when my house is tidy. Doesn't have to be spotless, just knowing that I know where everything is, not just shoved in wardrobes, drawers and cupboards.

Good luck today with all your things!

I think it's important to wind down every now and again, otherwise we'll just snap! And I agree because I've just booked my holiday :D

  • Hi Angela, think i might have an obsession with food, do seem to talk about it alot:D.

House is getting there slowly, do need to tidy out some drawers and cupboards in dining room, we also have a playroom, but the children hardly play in there anymore, suppose they are older have less toys, anyway it has turned into a dumping ground, so i really want to get that room sorted by the end of summer and have it as a sort of second living room, put the wii in there and a small table for homework etc. Needs painting as it has a winnie the pooh/tigger mural on the walls which i painted 5 years ago when we moved in, which according to my son is now a big no no and totally uncool.
  • OOHH ceniza where are going, tell tell, i'm all excited for you.
