Can't believe the weekend is nearly over.
Nothing much going on here, weather has been pants so have stayed at home all weekend, so at least we havn't spent anything.
Yesterday made £9 on ebay, have a few more things finishing today so should make a bit more.
Have spent today cooking, made soup for lunch and cakes for lunchboxes, need to get all the washing done, but because the weather is awful here having to put everything in the tumble:(.
Really peed off as i made a lovely choc cake and put it in the dining room, told DD not to let the dog in there and what did the little lady do, went in (being nosy) whilst i was outside picking strawberries, left the door open and the bl**dy dog got in and ate the cake:mad:.
Need to work out a budget for the rest of this month as its gone wrong somewhere, fill in overtime sheet and make a shopping list.0 -
Hi just caught up on reading your diary. Good luck
sorry to hear about the cake how frustrating!
Yay to kicking those high interest rate debts... It will get easier as over time hopefully you will get other 0% offers and that will make a big differenceAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Morning pennywise, oh no to the dog eating the cake, sounds like something that could happen in my house too!
I cant believe that Barclaycard have upped your limit that much, thats ridiculous!! No wonder people have got into such much debt.

Need to do a food shop and have £5 off £40 spend for morrisons, yet i only have £30 for food shopping, going to have to make at least £5 up somewhere, hopefully i will either spend less posting parcels/ meals out or hopefully get paid out on surveys etc and i don't get paid until 30th of this month:(.
Also need to but birthday present for DD best friend, i do have a £16 Amazon voucher that i was saving to use n new shoes for me for work, but think i am going to have to use it to buy present.
No bills in the post today, recieved some Pantene shampoo and conditioner. Will pack this in my case that i'm using to visit family next month, have arranged to go to wales for 3 days to stay with my aunty, taking kiddies and mum in law as well, hubby is home alone:eek:.0 -
Also forgot i nipped into Tesco this morning and spent £4.25 on cheese, fruit and yoghurts, but just remembered that i recieved a till spit thingy for £6 off £40 spend, will use this instead of the Morrisons one as Tesco is closer and its an extra pound off, can also do a shopping list checking prices online and be really stricked with myself, i can do this, i will do this.0

Been on Amazon and spent £12.50 of voucher on craft set and earrings for DD friends birthday, so just need to get card now, at least thats one less thing now to think about.
Have seen some nice pumps online in the next sale, not sure whether to order them or not.
Have also ordered a £5 Amazon voucher from Ipsos, was going to wait for enough for a £10 one but things are so tighrt at the moment i am grabbing everything i can.0 -
Have made a lasagne and thats cooking nicely:), also bunged a load of veggies, tinned toms and lentils in slow cooker so will have soup for my lunch for the next few days, at least then i won't run out of things for childrens packed lunches. Have taken out leg of lamb from freezer, this should do us a couple of days worth of meals and have plenty of bits to make cakes if we need them.
Have just recieved a paypal payment of £4 from pinecone, but need £6 in there before i can withdraw:mad:, also forgot that DS has a party on Saturday and i need to get a present and card for his friend:(.
Tommorrow whan i get Child benefit i will give friend £15 i owe and pay Post office credit card, must also go to post office and post ebay stuff.
Feel quite sick about money, also wondering whether i should not go out on work meal as that would be £20 saved, but also know it would be frowned upon by my boss, i suppose i will just have to make it as cheap as possible, i have already said i am driving, so will not be drinking and could also say i'm trying to lose weight for hols and could get away with just having a main meal, that would keep costs down.0 -
Whilst having a tidy upstairs and searching for things to ebay i have found a Dr who book i had bought for DS for Christmas and put away, so will use this as present for DS friend and buy some sweets to go with it.0

Hi sorry things are so tight. Good news on finding the forgotten present. My DD recently gave someone a still packaged action man my DS had been given years earlier. He already had that one so I had just hidden it away in my present box and at last it got used! Sweet!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
