  • Hi Mummy.

Ds is so much better thankyou, he went back to school today, but i have told him he can't go swimming this week though, don't want him to over do it.

Seems like i have managed to totally mess up with money, have overspent this weekend and i am now short, have had to borrow some £40 off OH and its his petrol money so will need to give him it back next week when i get child benefit.
This weekend we had fish and chips and bottle of wine so that was £20 GONE AND THEN I SPENT £51 IN MORRISONS WHEN I REALLY ONLY BUDGETED AROUND £35( sorry hit the caps lock, can't be bothered to retype), think cos i have been working so much and then up in the night with DS i am completely knackered and can't function properly.

Nothing exciting i the post and only made 99p on eBay sales over the weekend i have listed a few more bits, but i know i won't make alot. Post office card statement arrived, need to pay that next week £29 (min payment).

Just soo tired at the minute have worked all day again today and doing the same tommorrow, feels like everything is such a slog, would be ok if the overtime was going on something exciting and we could have a nice day out or i could do up my bathroom but its going on bl**dy debt, i know its my own fault but:mad:. sorry moan over.

    Morning pennywise,

OMG I think we could be living parallel lives! I had planned on spending £40 in Morrisons and getting the £5 off making it £35, however ended up spending £56 which came out at £51, how bizarre!! I can plan with the best intentions and once I get to the supermarket theres always something ive omitted from the list. Oh well keep chipping as ive read a few times in Woowoo's diary!

Hope you managed to get a good sleep last night and are feeling brighter this morning x

  • Hi mummy, better nights sleep, but still feel exhausted.Worked all day today, might end up doing full days for the rest of the week, break up a week on Friday and i can't wait:D. will be off untill the 3rd sept.

:jGood day moneywise. took lunch to work and fruit for snack time. Recieved a cheque for £50 from its your view, only taken me about 2 years to reach payout, but even so it was nice to recieve it and i need it at the moment. 10p on free scratchie no surprise there, withdrew 500 nectar points from mysurvey and £3 into payal from lightspeed, not a bad day.

Postie has brought me pyjamas that i ordered last week from kiddiecare, used a voucher for £5 off no minimum spend, so got some Toy story 3 pj that were £4.69, had to pay for postage, but they are really cute and have really cheered DS up.

Going to go and have a look how much i have in paypal as i'm sure i should have about £10 now if so i will withdraw it, i really need to start paying more off halifax card.
  • £12 withdrawn from Paypal and have put jkt spuds in oven for tea, need to bake cakes for school cake sale, but will do this once little darlings are in bed.

  • PJ were supposed to be for christmas, but decided to let him have them.

Money just seems to be flying out everywhere and not enough coming in.

Today i have manage to spend a total of £52 on various afterschool things, leaving present for collegue and best mates birthday present. Total money in today 10p on free scratchcard, fell like !!!!!!, just seem to scrap a bit of money together to pay off cards and it just disapears on something else.

Also looks like my work hours will be reduced in September, so really need to get as much paid off the cards as possible this summer.

Evening pennywise, I know exactly how you feel re money coming in one hand and leaving just as quickie from the other. Weve got so much to pay out in August im starting to panic a little bit that we will really need to cut back on the food shop! Heres hoping my quidco transactions get paid out to save the day haha!!!

Hopefully you can get as much as possible paid off the debt over the summer x

  • Hope so mummy, really need to sit down and work out what i will have coming in in september and work out a budget, going to have to be really strict with myself and not spend any vouchers i get from surveys, as i will need these for christmas.

Ebay bids up to £8.90 and 10p on scratchie this morning.
  • Well got to work this morning to find head teacher looking for me, starting panicking wondering what i had done wrong, turns out she had mixed up my hours with another member of staff, so i'm actually going to get a few more hours come Sept, she was very embarassed and apolagetic, i was just relieved and happy:j.

Postie brought me Tesco healthy eating mag, free coffee sample enclosed and some extra points coupons that i won't use, they can go on ebay. Also recieved Santander card statement, so will update sig.

Have withdrawn £5 amazon voucher from just the answer, takes up to £28 days, so hopefully with this one and the £16 one i already have i should have enough for some new work shoes:D.
  • Thanks goodness its friday, shattered but at least i got lots of overtime in this week, next week will be quieter and we break up for summer.

Off out tonight to see the new Twillight film, well if i stay awake.

Postie brought me some soaps i had ordered off washbag, used a code from codes forum, gave you £5 off no minimum spend and p&p is free and the soaps were £4 so got them for free. Postie also brought me a letter fromBarclaycard they have decided to put my credit limit up to ......... wait for it ... £9400, yes you have read right, so if i was that way inclined i could go and book a fab holiday to the Seychelles, just the slight problem of paying it back, i actually laughed when i read the letter and i thought they were supposed to be getting better at lending.

Ebay bids up to £16, which good, don't finish until Sunday so if i get up to £20 i will be a happy bunny.
