    Hi Pennywise

Its lovely to hear you sounding brighter and happier.

We've all had some kind of cold, sore throaty bug thing at the weekend as well, hope you're feeling better. Thats really organised getting school uniform in time for September and all those vouchers as well.I need to get myself sorted on that front.

Hope you have a good week off and get all your jobs done xxx
  • Well i've managed to complete all of yesterdays jobs on the flylady thread:eek:, at least now if someone knocks on the door i can invite them in as far as kitchen/dining room, living room still looks like an explosion in a toy shop, but i will get round to it, need to start todays flylady jobs:(, my house WILL be tidy by the end of this week.

Have managed to nip to PO to send ebay parcels, also spent £2.93 in there on bread and sweets, didn't get as far as the bank as kids started bickering so thought it was best to get home and feed them.

Right off to hang out more washing.

Hi Pennywise, glad your feeling better today. The exact same thing happened to me with the illness, I got so ill it took me over 3 weeks to get over! Im pretty sure it was all stress related to with work and money etc.
Did you manage to get more jobs done? Dont wear yourself out though, try take it easy xxx

  • Hi mummy, no didn't get more jobs done, so will do yesterdays jobs today.

Think being ill was stress related, just got so run down ans i knew i hadn't been eating properly.
  • Well today DS is off to the hairdressers, to be honest i think he needs a sheep shearing its very wild and wooly, partly my fault as 1) been too stressed out/busy to remember to take him and 2) he is a bl**dy nightmare when i get him there, he has it well that kinda surfer boy cut/look IYSWIM, shaggy i suppose you would call it and looks dead cute, but hates having it cut.

Also need to go to bank as didn't get there yesterday, need to get more fruit, yes had a Tesco delivery yesterday, but as i'm unloading didn't see DS swipe the bag of grapes and hadn't noticed until i put the order away, wondered where they were and looked out of window to see DS and his mate sat eating them, couldn't get cross really at least it was healthy and don't think his mate gets much in the way of fruit so didn't say anything and we ate strawbs for pud last night.

Surveys are really slow at the minute and don't seem manage to complete one if i do get them as get screened out and onepoll is being a twonk again, why did they have to mess around with it, it worked perfectly fine until they decided to upgrade it:mad:.

Right off to get showered and dressed and [STRIKE]drag[/STRIKE] encourage children out of their pits.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi Pennywise

When I take DS to the hairdressers I always ask for it to be cut as short as possible without making him look like a thug. I like to get my moneys worth and make the time in between going abit longer.

My DD would have taken the grapes and shared them out with all the neighbours kids as well whilst I was distracted but at least it was a healthy snack and he shared with his friend.
My 2 always ask for ice lollies when their friends are round so I buy cheap ice pops and put them in the garage freezer and leave all the nice icecreams in the indoor freezer, I don't feel mean then saying no to them when they all ask for lollies but I'm also not spending a fortune by having to share all the nice lollies!

Onepoll is really frustrating, I knew there was something wrong when I logged in last night and there were loads of surveys waiting to be completed! I just gave up.

    Have a great day xx

  • Thanks ladies,

Choo i got the hairdresser to chop loads off, DS is very unimpressed, had a real sulk on in the hairdressers, poor lady kept looking at me as if to say are you sure, just said keep going it will be fine, he will get over it:p, so i'm thinking i might be able to get away with him not having it cut until end of summer hols. Also took your idea and bought a load of icepops and wacked them in the freezer:D nice and cheap 40 for £1.

M2MG my 2 seem to be having a good half term so far, treated them to a MCDonalds today, they are now watching WallE that i recorded the other night, tomorrow we are going swimming and Friday off to the cinema:), gosh kids today are spoilt, i used to be playing at the park all day and only went home to be fed, how times change:(.

As i have said Ds has had his mop cut so that cost me £8.
paid cheque into bank and nipped into butchers bought sausages and pork chops, spent £6.68. Then off to Sainsburys, bought £50 clothes for the kids for £25, very pleased:D. then managed to spend £82.58 on food shopping !!!!!!, only mean't to buy some fruit, bits of pet food, just enough to get me to £50 to use £10 off voucher, oh well we have enough stuff in to feed a small army, also a very nice lady in Sainburys gave me a voucher for £2 off a £20 spend as she hadn't spent enough:D, so thankyou kind lady, so i suppose shopping would have been closer to £95 and i used a double points coupon as well.

Well i'm going to finish my cuppa and start flylady oh joy:(.

Forgot to mention if anybody doesn't know yet its FREE LISTING again on ebay this weekend.
  • Well done on the job honey,
