Hi Penny
So pleased that you still have your job. I can see how the pressure from this makes you more determined to sort the rest of the debts out.
I am sure that it is awful for you to see workmates losing their jobs but its not your fault.
Keep going and get some rest you must be exhausted.
God bless

Fantastic news that you are keeping your job. They can obviously see the effort you put in to do it well.
I do feel for those losing their's though it is a tough time to be out of work.
I hope the next couple of months working along side them are not too stressful for you.

Thankyou everyone, as you can imagine i feel really happy, but sad for those that will be finishing in the summer, there are literally no jobs at the minute for what i do so think it will be difficult for those people to find a job.
Ebay sales finished last night and i made £16, so again that will be winging its way to B card.
Have just checked my online statement with B card, lovely to see all the little payments, determined to make sure there are more next month though, off to update sig.0 -

Morning Penny
Good to get a break isn't. Good luck with the housework and blackmailing the kids...its the only way to survive parenthood!
You are doing well with the figures. You might get the figure down more when you have ebayed. Keep going.
Take care and enjoy your last day of work for a while.

Well hello,
Got home from work Friday and my head was banging and throat felt like sandpaper:(, had a bath and early night, woke up on Sat morning feeling like hell, nose running, sore throat, ached everywhere and so have spent most of the weekend in bed, think i had got really run down last few weeks and my body has yelled stooooooooop at me, so felt much brighter today got up this morning, had a shower came down stairs and OMG, how do 2 children and a man make sooooooo much mess, i'm not joking its a pigsty, kitchen needs enviromental health in, thank goodness that i've been too ill to eat, i think i night have been poisoned:eek:, so today i have slowly started tidying up, still lots to do but i've concentrated on the kitchen and getting the washing done.
Postie brought a lovely cheque on Saturday for doing surveys, so will bank that tomorrow and a £10 Tesco voucher from Valued OP, so happy bunny:D, once cheque has cleared you all know where that will be heading.
Have had a spend day today spent £32 with Tesco clothing used a £10 off a £40 spend voucher, bought myself a couple of tops for work and a load of school uniform, so now have all septembers school uniform except for school shoes:j.
Also ordered a Tesco food shop for tomorrow and again used a voucher £10 off a £50 shop, also used £17 of clubcard vouchers i had, mooched around on the website to see if i could find anything i liked to exchange them for, but there was nothing so thought might as well use it and save money now than them hanging around incase something catches my eye, so total of shop should be about £35.
AND its PAYDAY tomorrow:j.0 -
Good morning, its bright sunshine here, fingers crossed i can get some washing dried on the line today, might be really brave and strip all the beds and try and get it all line dried:cool:.
Well its payday, so i have paid £150 off B card:) and a paypal payment of £17.50 has also hit bank account so thats winged its way to it as well:D.
Recieved a £10 amazon voucher last night from IPS*S,keep this for christmas or if i need to buy a birthday present.
Did meter readings for gas/elec yesterday £20.63 for the week:mad:, just can't seemed to get it below £15 for the week, its that blumming tumble dryer.
Need to nip to the bank today and also the post office to post couple of ebay parcels, Tesco order coming to day and need to get on top of housework, off to look at flylady thread to see if that spurs me on.
Hope everyone has a good day.0
